Bgords Posted January 2 #1 Posted January 2 I want to share a serious issue with Stake’s bonus-drop system. Between Dec 18–Jan 1, I deposited roughly $12,000 CAD on Stake and wagered heavily. During that same period, I claimed about $30–$35 total in bonus drops — less than 0.3% of my deposits. Despite this, my account was restricted from claiming bonus drops for 7 days due to “disproportionate bonuses vs gameplay.” I wasn’t farming bonuses, profiting from drops, or avoiding wagering. I was actively depositing and playing real money. I also regularly sit through long Kick streams purely for the chance of catching an occasional code, most of which are gone in seconds anyway. That raises a simple question: what’s the point of offering bonus drops if players are penalized for trying to claim them? Most drops are effectively unclaimable due to speed, bots, or instant exhaustion. I’ve never successfully claimed a $2–$3 drop — only the smallest ones — and yet even those count against you. Support confirmed there’s no appeal, no human review, and no transparency. The system appears to judge rigid behavioral patterns rather than actual wagering, value, or intent. When a player deposits five figures in under two weeks, actively wagers, and engages with official streams, getting restricted over $30 in drops is hard to justify. Klausi1968 1
Approximate Posted January 2 #2 Posted January 2 Seems like 90% of players got it at the same time.. Just look at the chats, almost everyone got it. Great job Stake. "Play Smarter", sure, won't play at a site that bans everyone.
hexxie79 Posted January 2 #3 Posted January 2 (edited) Same here, claimed 1 drop this week from eddies stream, any other bonuses I've had have been from entering the promo comps on stake and on community, which have cost me money to play, so don't understand why I would be code banned for literally claiming 1 bonus code, I think something has gone wrong with the matrix in stake, if it says I have claimed **** bonuses, that is things like monthly, pre monthly, return of the king comp, originals comp etc etc, so how and why should that get me code banned So just gone back and added how many drops I've claimed (drops, not bonuses I've won from the various promo comps/monthly, which surely shouldn't be taken into account) in the last 31 days, and it totals $67.38, with a minimum wager (but could be higher) of $17,157 Does that really sound like my bonus drops are disproportional to my gameplay for the last month Edited January 2 by hexxie79 Adding extra info
SPN Posted January 2 #5 Posted January 2 They have fixed it now, refresh the site and try type in a random word in the code box and if it doesn't say that you are banned from claiming codes then it's fixed for you. DKerec92 1
