Abhayspam Posted April 21 #1 Posted April 21 Hey everyone, I’ve been exploring different strategies on Stake for a while now, and instead of chasing unrealistic profits, I decided to focus on something more important — consistency and bankroll protection. This thread is not about “get rich quick.” It’s about staying in the game longer and making smarter decisions. 💰 1. Bankroll Management (Most Important Rule) Never risk more than 2–5% of your total balance per bet Divide your bankroll into daily sessions If you lose your session bankroll → STOP for the day 👉 Example: If your balance is $1000 Max per bet: $20–$50 Daily session: $100–$200 📊 2. Game Selection Matters From my experience: Low risk: Dice (low multiplier), Limbo (controlled targets) Medium risk: Sports betting (with research) High risk: Slots (entertainment only) 👉 Don’t mix high-risk games when you’re already in loss. 🧠 3. The Psychology Trap Most losses happen because of: Chasing losses Increasing bet size emotionally Ignoring stop-loss 💡 My rule: After 3 consecutive losses → take a break 📈 4. Simple Low-Risk Strategy (Dice Example) Win Chance: 70–80% Increase bet by 20–30% after loss Reset after win ⚠️ Important: Stop after 5–6 losses in a row (don’t go full martingale) 🎯 5. Profit Target & Exit Plan Set a daily profit target (5–10%) Once hit → withdraw or stop playing This is where most people fail. 🧾 6. My Personal Rules No playing when emotional No “all-in” bets Always withdraw partial profits Track wins/losses weekly 🤝 Final Thoughts Stake is fun, but without discipline, it becomes dangerous quickly. I’m still learning every day, so I’d love to hear: 👉 What strategies are working for you? 👉 Do you follow strict bankroll rules or play freely? Let’s discuss and improve together. Good luck & play smart 🍀 Ajay8889900, coyote18 and ig4bh4y0 3
CulitoFuerte Posted April 21 #2 Posted April 21 Good luck. But I still think the best strategy is to find the strength to admit it’s a scam, accept the losses, and walk away. Or become one of those cancer spreading streamers :)) grunsher and raitx 2
InfiDaK1ng Posted April 21 #3 Posted April 21 Keep in mind, every Bet placed has negative EV for the Player, meaning the more you Bet, whether in Bet size or Bet Volume, the more likely you are to lose. Low risk dice bets might not blow your Balance as fast as a bad blackjack Hand or Bonus buy, but your Chance of getting meaningful Profit are slim and almost 0 over the course of weeks or months. Gambling is a losing game and when you're not in for the Entertainment, trying Profit strategies etc. you're inching closer and closer to what could be a life destroying addiction. Play responsibly.

Good luck & play smart 🍀 Very good strategy. I agree that bankroll management is the most important thing. Many people lose because they chase losses and don’t stop in time. I focus on discipline and consistency. Small bets, no all in, and I always take a break after losing streaks. Edited April 21 by Carlos Alberto9 A mistake Abhayspam 1

Gambling is a losing game and when you're not in for the Entertainment, trying Profit strategies etc. you're inching closer and closer to what could be a life destroying addiction. @InfiDaK1ng nailed it. Every bet has negative EV - that's literally the business model. House edge isn't some conspiracy theory, it's just math. Slots run 2-15%, roulette 2.7%, blackjack 0.5% with perfect play. What makes it guaranteed for operators is volume. One player can get lucky, but 10,000 players over a month can't beat expected value. If you actually want to understand how this works from the operator side - why they push bonuses, how GGR works, why slots are pushed harder than sports betting - there's a decent breakdown here: https://thegamblingjournal.com/insights/business-models-economics/how-do-online-casinos-make-money/ Play for entertainment if you want but don't confuse bankroll management with a profit strategy. The math doesn't care about your discipline. Play responsibly. The problem begins when a person comes in with the idea of earning a steady income. Because then any negative is perceived as something that needs to be repaid. Edited May 4 by StefanKönig

Good luck & play smart 🍀 Jeezest Christ what are you smoking, or how delusional are you? The only strategy is to quit gambling. There is no bankroll management or any other strategy. You will lose, always! And your strategy isn’t even a strategy, and there’s no bankroll management at all. You’re doing 20-50 spins with a 1k balance 😂 You’ll get no bonuses or anything. So you do 2-10 spins a day? What would that change? It would just mean you lose more slowly. If you want to do 20 -50 spins, you should have at least a 20-50k balance as the absolute minimum. Set a daily profit target 😂 Dawka77777 and CulitoFuerte 2

kick-raivisf Posted May 7 #17 Posted May 7 (edited) By increasing bet in any way at all you just lose faster (because your avarage bet increases). If you want minimize loss you never increase your bet size. Poker is only game you can win consistently on stake. Edited May 7 by kick-raivisf

Also sports bets when you know what you do which means i know some people that are profitable but one of them has a PhD in math and two others of them in economics. They analyze and track stats all day.
