daredddd Posted May 8 #1 Posted May 8 As @NemanjaPi closed the original topic I opened in the hopes that I will let this go with no real explanation, just a random reply. SEMANTICS MATTER 📜 Rules 1. Choose only one weapon 2. Must include hashtag (#Dagger / #Sword / #Warhammer) 3. Minimum bet $0.20 (in any currency). 4. Only bets after post count 5. Bets must have been made after 30/04/2026 - 12 PM (UTC). So you are trying to tell me that Rule 4 and Rule 5 are basically saying the same thing, BETS MUST BE NEW or made AFTER THE POST FOR THE PROMOTION. 🧐 What is clearly the intent is to say that the bets must be made ONLY AFTER CHOOSING A RISK LEVEL, not just spinning all 3 and posting whatever hits first. So for those of us that are interested in the real results if we don't pretend like we suddenly interpret rules vaguely and semantics don't really matter ... Here they are: Dagger: should have paid 50$ to these eligible players @Adham @GO1321 @LeWolffe- @jenkmaister @vin38 @DuskEmbers @sizzlinghotx @FXa @GrooZz399 @Indor0214 Sword: should have paid 500$ to these eligible players (like that was eveeeer gonna happen 😆) @littlematch @waystone @Azim Warhammer: should have paid 250$ to these eligible players @dvgurevich @ytkhlns-_- @knifear @MisrespectMisre @Ernest-- @retasien @MsKalapao @GTI1986 @ngn77 @weediepie The rest of the players were not eligible because they made their bets BEFORE they POSTED, which clearly violates RULE 4. which very clearly explains that ONLY BETS MADE AFTER THE POST FOR CHOOSING THE RISK LEVEL COUNT! GTI1986, Indor0214 and weediepie 1 2
GrooZz399 Posted May 9 #2 Posted May 9 Спасибо за внимательность и справедливость, это важные качества p.s я получил примерно 17$, если честно то не ожидал так много за самый легкий уровень
daredddd Posted May 9 Author #4 Posted May 9 I am not actually being delusional and expecting that the promotion will be paid in full and properly, but I believe that it is fair to actually just apologize and explain that ... "Maybe the way the promotion was described was not ideal and most of the players did not understand it properly, so I have decided it is better to pay all entries and not just the ones that follow all the rules ..." Which is not the most outrageous thing to do really and I am sure that users would understand and be ok with that decision. But of course NOT, we have to resort to insulting everyone's intelligence and acting a fool 🐒🤪
Community Manager NemanjaPi Posted May 9 Community Manager #5 Posted May 9 Hey @daredddd I think there’s still a misunderstanding regarding Rule 4. The “post” in that rule referred to the promotion post itself, not to each participant’s individual reply/weapon selection post. Participants were also able to edit their chosen target during the promotion period, which already shows that the intention was not “post first, then bet only afterward.” That said, we do understand how the wording could lead to different interpretations, so we’ll make the rule wording more explicit if we run a similar promotion again in the future , which I planned beacuse I think that promotion is interesting and pretty easy. Best regards, NemanjaPi.
daredddd Posted May 9 Author #6 Posted May 9 @NemanjaPi I understand why all qualifying entries were accepted. Once most users interpreted the promotion that way, paying only the few who posted/edited in the stricter way would probably have created an even bigger issue. So from a practical moderation point of view, accepting the broader interpretation was the only logical move. That said, I still strongly suspect the intended mechanic was originally supposed to be: Choose weapon first → play that risk category → edit the same post with the winning Bet ID if you hit. That fits the whole theme of the promotion much better: “Choose Your Weapon”, “Pick Your Path”, “only one path”, and Rule 1 saying “Choose only one weapon”. Otherwise, the mechanic is not really choosing a path; it is just playing any of the three games and posting whichever one works. I think most of the confusion came from the “How to Enter” section saying: “Post your weapon + Bet ID in one message.” My guess is that this was added because you wanted to avoid users making two separate posts — one post to choose the weapon, and then another post later with the Bet ID — which would be messy to check and would create double-posting problems. So the intended flow was probably to make one post and edit it later. But because this was not written explicitly, most users read it as: first get the multiplier, then post the weapon and Bet ID together. That is a completely different mechanic. So I am not arguing anymore that the payout should be changed. I understand why it was handled this way. My point is just that the wording likely failed to communicate the intended mechanic clearly enough. For the next version, it should probably say one of these directly: “Choose your weapon first. Only bets made after your weapon-selection post count. Edit your original post with the Bet ID if you hit.” or: “You may submit any qualifying bet made during the promotion period, but you may only submit one weapon category.” That would avoid this whole argument completely. Community Manager NemanjaPi Posted May 9 Community Manager #7 Posted May 9 Hey @daredddd Thank you for the constructive feedback and for explaining your perspective in such a detailed manner. You honestly make a very fair point, and I can absolutely understand how the wording may have led to different interpretations of the promotion mechanic. Your explanation regarding the intended “Choose Your Weapon / Pick Your Path” concept makes a lot of sense, especially when connected to selecting a category first and then continuing within that chosen path. I genuinely appreciate that you approached the discussion thoughtfully and respectfully instead of simply arguing about the result itself. Feedback like this is actually very useful because it helps highlight where promotional wording can unintentionally create ambiguity or confusion. Your suggestions for future clarification are also good ones, especially explicitly stating whether: The weapon must be selected before the qualifying bet, or any qualifying bet during the event period can later be assigned to one category. That kind of clarification would definitely help avoid similar misunderstandings in future events. I also fairly often create discussion topics focused on clarification, community feedback, and possible improvements regarding promotions and forum rules in general. I’ll most likely open another discussion topic again soon where we can openly discuss promotions, event mechanics, and rules that maybe should be clarified, adapted, or improved moving forward. Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts in a constructive and mature way, it’s appreciated a lot. Best regards, NemanjaPi.
daredddd Posted May 9 Author #8 Posted May 9 LOL brate, you give me way to much credit or lowkey trolling me and probably rightfully so 😆 I find different challenges interesting and would hate to see this one abandoned because of awkward discussions. Hope you are being genuine and don't take it to heart, these things should be openly discussed without taking it too personally. Have a good night and keep up the hustle, we need new promotions!
