Something I've dreamt of writing but never got around to it til now

Hope you like my pun on the topic there XD In light of the requirement for today's challenge I'm forced to use my unpolished English skills from wayyyy back during my University days.

I especially made the challenge harder on myself with this format/syllable requirement/rhyming and everything, because why not lol 😛 (inb4 support makes this a challenge later on...)

I hope you can tell which song I based this off of, and yes I basically imitated every part of the song, all the way down to each sentence's number of syllables.

Oh, it’s pouring heavily outside
And I’m so bored while inside
To pass time I made a mistake:

Gosh so many games to choose on here
And I’m terrible as it were
But there’s big money to take

To start I tried daily challenge
And went to read the detail page
Not a fan of Plinko to start
But I have to finish every part

Halfway there and the end is near
And the prize is biggest this year
Since every challenge I partake
Let’s play Stake, let’s play Stake, let’s play Stake!

 

High risk eleven pins to start
But chances are so far apart
Twelve and thirteen pins will follow
And I’ve already finished, wow!

I can’t believe my luck today
I realize I’m dreaming, no way
Now that I’m finally awake

thats awesome man. i like to write aswell, but my writting are mote personal based on how im feeling. i use it as a tool for releasing emotions in order not to go insane. hahaha. thanks for sharing your art.

very creative. sadly i have no clue what song it is just by looking at your lyrics haha. in my head i interpreted it in rap form so im sure im wrong on that part too, lol

I think this is the winner for "Best Original Response to the Requirement to Create a Wholly New Thread in Order to be Eligible for a Challenge" award. 

Personally I hope they don't require it too much more, maybe comment on a thread or something but not make a new one.
