Hey everyone 👋

I’ve been thinking a lot about what makes this community special. The games are great, but the real energy comes from the chat – the banter, the support, and yes, sometimes the chaos 😅

So I’m genuinely curious:

👉 What qualities do YOU think a good moderator should have?
👉 If you could change one thing about how the chat is moderated, what would it be?

This isn’t a job application – just a conversation starter. Let’s share ideas, experiences, and maybe even tag someone who you think would do a great job (if they ever opened applications).

---

💬 A Few Questions to Get Us Going:

1. What’s the most important rule a mod should enforce?
2. How would you handle a heated argument between two players?
3. Should mods be more visible in chat, or work behind the scenes?
4. What’s one thing you’ve seen in other casino chats that Stake does really well (or could improve)?

---

🍀 Drop Your Thoughts Below

No need to drop usernames for “luck” – just share your honest opinion. Let’s keep it respectful and constructive. Who knows? Maybe someone from the team will read this and take notes. 👀

Let’s get a real discussion going. 👇

my username is Hipfinnsy. I joined in June of 2025. Currently a PL 3 on .US. Would like to mod!

1. Why do you really want to be a mod?

Im online a lot and I am always on Stake.us and the forums.

2. What’s the FIRST thing you’d change in the chat / community?

I wouldn't change much but, the challenges room needs to be removed on chat .us and swapped with something useful.

3. How would you handle a toxic player or scammer?

Give them a chance to chance and then destroy them via mute.

4. Can you commit to being active every day?

All day every day

Sounds like Hipflimsy really wants to be mod. I personally think we could do without mods all together. Allow A.I to handle it. Once you start using humans in a computer generated chat you start introducing favoritism, inconsistency and frankly a spot that's better dealt with by a completely neutral always the same set of rules computer program. If anything they need to hand out Bonuses to VIP members who go above and beyond and generate a thumbs up system where the VIP leadership and good mentors (that aren't the current set in place moderators Stake has now) will get rewarded for just being helpful and in turn earning something for their good stewardship. The more likes the more bages and so on. So anyone that wants to be a "moderator" just has to earn that spot as a legit helpful person. IMO
