Challenge and The Ghost Mode

Dang Ive always seen the no ghost mode enabled but i can see how someone could accidentally have it on. Wish it wasnt a deal breaker for challenges but i imagine it has something to do with preventing abuse.

Just wanted to add a warning, always check your ghost mode status especially if you use a mobile phone or any touchscreeb devices.. sometimes accidentally you can set it on by even slighty brushing on the button (when on desktop mode).. its happened to me a few times and didnt even kbow i was on ghostmode.

I disagree with this part. The challenges' rules are always extremely transparent. Anything confusing could be double-checked with Support for clarification, and I've yet to see one instance where Stake has written those "mini-letters" like terms and conditions so people can't see it. 500k bonus is nothing compared to the wagers going on here...

@BojanaI suggest changing the part about ghost-mode in "General Challenge Rules" to (Ghost-mode must be disabled from the moment you post an entry until the Challenge reward coupon is released). This way there is absolutely no confusion if the challenge took longer than expected to verify.

Suggstion accepted, let's let @Katarina know and she can edit her topic accordingly, although I thought that we made that clear in the current ones, I fail to comprehend why people catch for the semantics instead of admitting their own error of not disabling it as it was instructed... but ofc, always open for improvement if it would make things more clear 😌

I explained it above why it is important to have bets transparent, people should be able to see why they got that specific amount of prize, with whom they are sharing prize pool and that no rigging has taken place, and I will emphasize once more - it is not in our interest to damage anyone, prize pool is the same and we want to share it with as much eligible users as we can, we gain nothing by disqualifying anyone 😉 On the other hand, it wouldn't be a challenge if we did not have requirements to fulfill 🍀

I think that it needs to be written in the rules that Ghost mode needs to be disabled until the prizes are paid out because I had an issue with this the other day and I was so upset that I had thought that I followed the rules due to the fact that it states in the rules"until the end of the challenge" and to my misunderstanding I thought that the end of the challenge is when the timer stops but its not.   Ghost mode must be disabled until the payouts are given.    I just don't want anyone else to misunderstand it and no get a giveaway payout when they feel they have followed the rules the way I did.

Due to that issue I have respectfully decided not to partake in any challenges for a while.  Good luck and have fun.

Nowadays I just completely give up on enabling ghost mode when participating in a ongoing challenge.

ah... i misunderstood that part when i was reading it... 
i guess i have just been lucky to be honest the times i partook and had forgotten to turn off ghost mode but did b4 posting so it would let me etc...
long story short.... i was lucky not to have had problems...
will leave it off for sure in future...

i do remember reading something about mods no longer see all hidden names, and i remember they used to see all hidden names... so the hidden thing wasnt even hidden to them... that has changed now so ive heard... and hidden means hidden.... are you all sure this isnt the reason why the whole hidden thing (even after posting) is the real issue? cause if hidden it wouldnt be able to"verify" even after the post.. but before it was able to.

see my logic? idk but whatever bojana says im sure is the best and closest to reality =P
