Shaniqua Posted January 14, 2019 #1 Posted January 14, 2019 I've been trying to calculate it but im kind of confused on the maths does anyone know what would be the right statistical maths on finding out the probability of getting a tie in the diamond poker game? i thought the maths would be simple but i keep confusing myself. if any of you can articulate the maths on it id appreciate it a lot.
williamshennie9 Posted January 19, 2019 #2 Posted January 19, 2019 It is possible to calculate the probability of a tie with a specific hand, but I'm sure someone out there who is good at math can do it. I think it might be easier to calculate the odds of specific ties, such as a tie with one pair, for example, and then add them up to get the grand probability of a tie.
wngo123 Posted August 25, 2019 #3 Posted August 25, 2019 i get the tie very often actually, so the probability must be very high. Are you asking because you never had it? Because if you play long enough or even for short time you will get tie sooner or later so it's not that uncommon
wyj1306 Posted August 25, 2019 #4 Posted August 25, 2019 Really I have no idea, I would also like to know the probability of coming out 5 diamonds of the same color, because I'm trying to thousands of rolls and so far couldn't finish the weekly challenger because of that roll. I don't like this game at all, it just depends on random luck.
