Paigeturner Posted March 10, 2019 #1 Posted March 10, 2019 I have noticed the amount of rain i have received since the switch has decreased substantially. Before the switch to 2.0 i would receive rain everytime i made a deposit, I'd also receive whenever i was active in chat whether tipping others or simply chatting. But now i can do all three and not receive anything from the rainbot. Has anyone else noticed the same? Is this to be the norm now?

You can't expect it to giveaway much more than that because that is basically Stake's profit that they are giving back. Most casinos don't even have a rain, so I just see it as free money

I depo at leasta few times a week, I chat regularly, I tip , I post on forum and I rarely get a sprinkle from the bot.

Actually before, i have not receive any rain, because i don't have much time for chatting at our channel. Anything change with version 2 of Stake?
polor12 Posted March 10, 2019 #6 Posted March 10, 2019 with rain bot.. i think they have a few adjustments with it.. people can get rained without depositing and just chat... now is almost hard to tell if depo or chatting can be a factor in receiving rain.. thinking maybe what ever amount of the current coin thats being played that would be the coined will rain use..or just hopefully random.. but that would be unfair to those that depo... the ones that depo should get rain imo...
williamshennie9 Posted March 10, 2019 #7 Posted March 10, 2019 We should keep in mind that a few months ago, when Stake did a major upgrade (and implemented DOGE and BCH) the rainbot did not exist. At least we have something that gives us money, even though it may be very small amounts. It really is better than nothing guys.

Since the update i have been catching more rains than usual though so i don't really know what you guys are talking about. Maybe it's just the drastic increase in players that will let you have lower chances of catching rains.

With the number of users being online at a time, and since only 10 users get rained at a time, the chance of getting rained is minimal. Also, rain is a free money from the casino. You are supposed to gamble on a casino, not catch rain. As a matter of fact, Stake isn't required to give free money. If there are no free money, people complain; if there are free money, people still complain. if there If you're looking for free money, I believe that writing here on forum is more profitable than waiting for rain.

And I agree it is a very nice generous feature But I am usually the first one to bitch if it misses me so I can’t really say too much. Haha. Thanks for the good info though will I am.

Most casinos don't even have a rain, so I just see it as free money I do not think its the amount that shes talking about, im pretty certain its the fact that even if you wager, active in chat and even deposits, does not really help in getting hit by the rainbot., xD.. thats pretty much the story for me as well.. that is why i stopped even hoping for rain and have chatted less and less since nothing really helps.. its random.. but ive noticed when someone tips when its not hidden, the player that tipped actually gets hit by rain more often than not.. that is the reason you see players tipping themselves publicly using alts so that they get rain... lol ..

From outright concern for the chat: To concerns for rainbot's well being: Suffice it to say changes will be made in rainbot's secret mode of operation. Try not to let it upset you. We all like free money, I love it, the amount of free money and the method it chooses to use to distribute it is up to Stake to try and maximize its profits, it owes us little besides that. I think @KiXxnTRiXx's approach is best, don't expect it and try not to think about it. One of the sad ironies of being human is that extrinsic rewards (like free money) drive out the intrinsic rewards (like enjoyment). As @williamshennie9 pointed out, just a few months ago there was no rainbot at all and we were almost all here chatting and having a good time. Now when we don't get the rain or see it giving money to people we don't think deserve it, we get mildly annoyed or even upset. Let's let things unfold. So if rain isn't what it used to be for you, I'm sorry, that sucks, but just hang on, chat and have fun, I expect it will change again in time! Good Luck!!!

They are fun, reward alot more per win than rainbot does and reward players that are playing. Also seems every day I've been playing lately, Eddie has been raining the hell out of the place, so I think the setup is pretty decent atm.

That's the problem, that rains aren't reward players that are playing, it mostly reward players that spams no sense stuff in chat like: gl or missed and stuff like these. Same with Eddie's rains, most players who are trying to win those 2 ETH with 0.006 per bet, ends up busted and rechieving no rains, not complaining about the amounts or something but its kinda annoying that spammers are more likely to get these rather than people who bets and busts.

ceastem Posted April 27, 2019 #23 Posted April 27, 2019 I don't know if it's true, but eddie said the rainbot is updated where if you chat more than 3 messages in the last 100 messages in the chat, your chance decreases. Although this is a great update, i would rather just remove chatting in the channel to have a chance to win be removed entirely. The spam in the tele challenge is too much for my laptop. I was just betting and betting then boom crashed. The page will just reload and all my progress in wagers are gone, along with my live stats that i was keeping track of. Not only that, i think that when it refreshes, the chances to receive the rain will be gone too since my wagered amounts were reset for the session(not sure tho). Although i don't like to spam, i still would love to catch some of those 1 dollar rains.

By the other hand, every time I see more active user at a time, that decrease the chance to get any rain. New rules for rain are hard when you have to wager and chat at the same time. Damn, I can hardly breath and watch, how I can gamble and chat? Good luck on your gambling.
Kate Posted April 27, 2019 #25 Posted April 27, 2019 Lol stake is seriously gonna now disable rain forever after seeing how much complaints there have been against it , people these bots are made to make the people deposit and it is not for regular people or who have been in stake for a lot but it is actually meant for newbies .
