Honesty I think people overrate Diaz's 1v1 game a bit. Digne has enough experience and positional sense to force him wide or inside into traffic most of the time.

I wouldn't say Digne locks him down, but forcing Diaz wide is probably a safer bet than trying to match his pace, and Digne's good at that

Digne can hold his own if France keep their shape compact, but I'm still tempted by the anytime assist odds on Diaz because he only needs one clean cutback to wreck the line.

Digne's got the legs but Diaz will burn him wide.

He'll probably get tight and make it physical early, but Diaz is too quick in small spaces to shut down completely for 90 minutes.

Yeah I had Digne in my fantasy lineup for that Aston Villa match against Liverpool and Diaz made him look silly on the turn about three times before halftime. Digne will put in a shift but he absolutely needs a midfielder dropping deep to block that inside channel or it's a problem all night.
