This topic is not about the themes you like but what trivia should be about in order to make it fun and fair for everyone lol

i agree with you ...who is sponsor the money for trivia they  be able to choose anything they want ...but

there always have some people do some smallest prize like 0.0001 eth or 0.00001 btc and guess the number 0-100 consider it a spam tho ...shouldnt do it

I completely agree . Certainly some of the questions are super dumb and illogical like ''1+1=69'' . To make it more fun, emphasis should be placed on questions that need to be answered for more than 3 seconds

I see. Kate, I see that you have high amount of posts and an interesting forum status. Maybe you can contact to stake representatives (they would listen to you more than me ) and suggest that kind of challenge on the forum?

I think it is better to dwell on the trivias associated with the stake and the community. I think the only way to develop a strong community.

On a serious note..players should be creative in making trivia.. if a question is made say 1+1= most likely answer is 2..but ends up 69...the person that made the trivia should explain how 69 is the answer...

I actually hate google trivias while the people who plays thru mobile are more likely to lose, I prefer RollHunts instead of trivias while it can be also based on skills.

I hate trivia where the answer is the wrong answer, 1+1 = 11, or if it's something stupid that makes no sense, also if it relies on guessing like " what did I just eat?" thus causing massive spam.

I like trivia where if you know it, you'll type it faster than someone would have the time to Google it. Like history or capitals. Also math is fine as long as the answer is the correct one.

There needs to be a min amount for trivia, like 1 dollar. 1 penny is too easy to repeatedly abuse the short stream of information we have in the chat as it is. And allows  players to continue to fill the chat with spam, and repeat answers. It's terrible. The Trivia module is nice though. real nice.

Whenever I do trivias I like to do questions that can be easily answered by anyone or are a major part of pop culture that a lot of people around the world would have been exposed to. I try to make it so people engage in chat but do not have to have such specific knowledge about arbitrary subjects.

I think the best thing is for players to be able to choose between some proposed topics, I don't think this game is suitable for giveaways

A good example is the Trivia I just did (Question: Which "This Is Us" actress is also known for her protagonist act in a romance based in a Nicholas Sparks book? Also another that was brought to our chat recently is how the questions always are in favor of english speakers.. I mean, we have hundreds of different languages using English chat as main chat and yes, I am aware that it is the english chat but we could use trivias to do more questions related to things that have the same answer is different languages, things that should be known by anyone (or at least most all the people) or things related to different movies, series, songs or books as long as the answer will be about real knowledge and not about who is the faster to Google it (i.e: Question: Which of the Guns N' Roses song was launched as a single at 1989? Answer: Patience)

 

So, well, that is my idea of what Trivias should really be about..

People doing the trivias doesnt necessarily know or speak any language other than english.. and if someone who does not speak does trivias in english room in their language then the ones (which most of the players in the english chat room would be the one scratching their heads.. each chat room does their own trivias anyhow.. i know that we get more trivias in the english room and that is because the big majority of players are english speakers or knows enough english in order to communicate or understand the questions.. 

as per the type of trivia questions, i do agree with you.. straight question, one straight answer.. rather than the open ended guessing game type trivia questions that floods the chatroom with spam..

Actually the majority of players user English chat room because there is no chat room for their mother language.. you can't forget that there are around 7000 languages spoken all over the world and, beside english, we only support 7 of them

I like trivia that has random questions, that people can not quickly google, or have an advantage personally...  Keeps the playing field even and gives everyone a chance to get in on the action ^_^

I mean come on, asking trivia questions that are about a book and a certain paragraph or anything along these lines are simply not enjoyable unless there's a high reward. The simple trivias are good, the google ones possibly not. But things like lol + lel = lawl (rack) , make the trivias go by faster and therefore make them all about reaction time, how quick you can type and you can fit more of those your free time.

trivia  should definitely not be about the color of someone's underwear or even a number between one and a million, tribute should be about rewarding those with a plethora of knowledge available to them gained from experiences in life unlike easily Google herbal questions it should be some niche irregular yet known information in my opinion

I think that if a person is willing to do a trivia therefore basically giving away free money of their own, that they should be able to give it how ever they want, with the obvious exceptions of certain rules.

I prefer math trivias. You have to fast think and then answer. There's no Google'ing. Only 1 problem is when chat starts to spam with the same answer, but its only for a while (like always). Guessing nicknames on stake is easy. Something like m _ _ _ _ _ _ _ 528. A little bit spammy but i tolerate that. Other questions are easy to find on google and then if you want to win, you have to:
1. Fast copy question

2. CTRL + t   ->   CTRL + v  -> enter

3. Copy answer -> CTRL + TAB

4. Paste on chat

Ofc you have to have fast internet connection and fast browser otherwise u have no chance (If trying to win on phone = No chance)

That's my tactic on these kind of trivias. I think that's all what i wanted to say. Have a nice day!
