as i observe in chat during trivia, players who has a good and fast internet is always ahead on it, almost all of the given question can be found in goggle, though i know that there are bunch of geniuses stake player out there managed to answer question quick, still the fast net is advantage,, roll hunt would fair instead

well trivia should be in a  way to make people think,. that everyone can relate tor understand,, where a trivia can be known by everyone., meaning where everyone have the best chance in answering and have the understanding about the trivia.. some really dont know the trivia is a about because of the geographic where people cannot relate and can be frustrating to them... if the trivia's can be about the community and where the players can search the forum for the answers that can make everyone participate and no one left out.,  but just tired with some idiotic question with equal idiotic answers. for example.. question.. what color is the sky? USUAL answer is blue.. stake trivia answer..69!!.. wtf, that killed  more brain cells then the years in have been smoking weed..

as long as it is not a fake trivia or rigged trivia, i think the one who is sponsoring or running the trivia has ebvery right to make the trivia questions anything he or she desires them to be, i know its not fun sometimes.... but hey its their moneys

Sad to say that in recent events, I find it that when the trivia is copy pasting, everybody seems to like it since it's easy to answer and get the prize.

When it is awfully hard since it's an original idea and it cannot be googled, people tend to say "skem trivia" and other shits. 

People have different tastes and knowledge about things here. So Topics from trivias should depend solely from the one giving them.

It was always up to the one who gives trivias and nobody else should dictate since it's his money anyway.

A good example is the Trivia I just did (Question: Which "This Is Us" actress is also known for her protagonist act in a romance based in a Nicholas Sparks book? Answer: Mandy Moore).. if I would not elaborate the question that way or if I would maybe name the Nicholas Sparks book (A Walk To Remember) it would be so easy for anybody to Google, is not it?

Also another that was brought to our chat recently is how the questions always are in favor of english speakers.. I mean, we have hundreds of different languages using English chat as main chat and yes, I am aware that it is the english chat but we could use trivias to do more questions related to things that have the same answer is different languages, things that should be known by anyone (or at least most all the people) or things related to different movies, series, songs or books as long as the answer will be about real knowledge and not about who is the faster to Google it (i.e: Question: Which of the Guns N' Roses song was launched as a single at 1989? Answer: Patience)

 

So, well, that is my idea of what Trivias should really be about..

Trivia(s) can be based on reaction/speed and still be fair if the topics relate to Math, Stake knowledge or even current events in the Chatbox.

When it comes to questions on general knowledge, rephrasing of the question is very important as it can negate straight answers via Googling. 

A good example is how Robear hosts his trivia (almost every question is anti-Google) which gives enough priority time to genuine answers. At the very least it gives Googlers a run for their money! 😋

I hate google trivias too. I like math trivias where people can't google them. Most of the trivias i won are hard math trivias.

trivias should be about fun and competition not just about how much sats are given etc ,questions that make your mind boggle are awesome

the good trivia has a category before making questions, such as the category about education, about music, about acris, which is clear about knowledge, so at least every question given, the answer can be to increase our knowledge. and of course to avoid questions related to spam

I mean... These are cool ideas and suggestions for the trivia's that should be allowed. I honestly think that these ideas for trivia's are good. I mean, I think they should do trivia's in the maths category and also geography. And even music. I am definitely not saying this because I am good at these  Lol Joking! But yeah there are my ideas for trivia's. I think they're quite reasonable

But that’s just my opinion, trivia(s) should still be about whatever the host wants it to be it’s their $$$ anyway and we should all respect that.

I don’t really agree with you but I don’t disagree either. Trivias are a way for people to give to the community and therefore it sould be based on how the host want to make it, for exemple I love maths so I would do a math trivia but I think these google trivias is just who’s the fastest at googling and that’s wrong but I still enjoy them as it’s free money anyways! I think trivias that aren’t possible to Google is the best!

Well, not a big deal, we can still do manual ones but it's kinda annoying due to spam the trivia feature was kinda nice for users when they wanted to make a share of their winnings.

I love love love the guess the username trivia’s.   Maybe they are easy and can be spammy but they are easy and I am a good guesser at this stuff so of course I love them !!

I feel like guessing trivias are the most entertaining because you can’t script for them (using a bot that automatically Googles a question and answers it for a user). 

However, trivias where you have to use your brain to answer the question, under topics like general knowledge, history, geography, maths etc, are stimulating for the brain.

I have never won a stake trivia because they occur at random intervals, but a fixed time for x amount of trivias each day would Ben more fun as I would be prepared for them.
