williamshennie9 Posted May 24, 2019 #2 Posted May 24, 2019 Were you able to confirm the rate before hand (in other words, did coinswitch quote you a specific exchange rate before you withdrew to the coinswitch wallet)? If the quoted rate was different, then you have every right to ask what happened to the missing bit of your exchange.
artizykristy Posted May 24, 2019 #3 Posted May 24, 2019 maybe you get a fee when the exchange takes place but you can also get the price of the coin you are exchanging down or the site does not renew the coin price ... so I wish you the best, friend
barbaris Posted May 24, 2019 #4 Posted May 24, 2019 Perhaps the exchanger with you took some unthinkable commission, but for what so much.
lupandina Posted May 24, 2019 #5 Posted May 24, 2019 Check transaction id, is it really same. Maybe it's not that deposit at all?
Babagucci Posted May 24, 2019 #6 Posted May 24, 2019 What about the transaction fees that the exchange charges to send your Bitcoin? You can always check the fee to see what you can expect to pay for a first block confirmation. Go here: https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/#delay I'm gyess you got the quoted amount minus the transaction fee to send the Bitcoin. Exchanges always use her gher amounts to ensure the crypto arrives in a timely manner. It's unlikely you got scammed or decieved in any way.

Kate Posted May 24, 2019 #8 Posted May 24, 2019 It might be because of the fees they used for the exchange stake won't take any money in my opinion because they only give money. Just ask coinswitch

That deposit of 180k was in all likelihood unrelated to this exchange. He/she is probably just trying to score some free crypto by accusing the service of ripping him/her off.
rajamishra Posted May 24, 2019 #10 Posted May 24, 2019 hello friends its not joke when u convicted some one or company think before twice and raise your comments.so many friends express their view .Any exchange site show their fees and terms.may be u exchange for low transaction fees but you over look for exchange fees.i am also exchange in so many site its more or less difference but not like what u told.

You must've missed the right link or something. Also when you did the exchange, are you sure you selected that amount of coins? As far as I know on any exchange you preset what amount you send and if you change your mind and want to exchange more, then you should make another request as in the old one all the money in plus will be kept by the site as a donation.

Well done @lupandina!!! I'm going to lock this since obvious not scam is obvious. @ahmeddz in the outside chance you were just mistaken and not intentionally posting a two month old TX claiming scam, the answer was probably transaction fees. They are high right now because BTC price is going up and there are a lot of transactions in the mempool.
