Sefan Posted May 26, 2019 #1 Posted May 26, 2019 Ever since the stake V2 update my browser and some times the hole computer has started to hang up if i have open 2 sessions of stake open at the same time, it only happens on chrome and opera, and i have no idea why, has this happend to anyone else? if so where you able to fix it some how?

I only ever have one Stake tab open, otherwise things get messed up between the two tabs, especially if I am betting in the one tab, and messaging or doing something else in the other tab. Super frustrating, so best to just use one tab

Bimfo Posted May 26, 2019 #4 Posted May 26, 2019 Stopped opening 2 tabs after I saw the problems. Its quite frustrating at times. I know the site will get better as time goes on and the developers will find something to do to it. But lagging and causing the site to suddenly stop is not cool.
ceastem Posted May 26, 2019 #5 Posted May 26, 2019 It's not actually laggy for me. Maybe it depends how fast your computer is? Due to the upgrade in the GUI, I think it uses more memory now than it used to so that it could show a more fluid animation, better graphics, etc. I always do this when hunting for the tele challenge and I have not encountered any problem so far. Although I have heard this occurs even to Eddie himself so it's pretty normal

Yes, but only on forum, not on stake. Sometimes even with one tab my browser would freeze (I tried Chrome and Firefox on Ubuntu). If I open 2 tabs or even 3 then the whole computer 100% will get stuck and will have to force shut it down from the button or it will not continue working at all. I tried it on windows too, but I don't have this problem at all.

pfodo Posted May 26, 2019 #9 Posted May 26, 2019 I have no problem with more tabs with Stake opened but I have some lags when I don't clean cache for a longer time. So I am doing it periodically and living without lags now.

blueprints Posted May 26, 2019 #13 Posted May 26, 2019 Well your browser atleast chrome, opens up processes for each tab you have open. So if you dont have a good cpu, or even graphics card with stake, then you will probably lag. Does your fan start to get loud?

Etude Posted May 28, 2019 #16 Posted May 28, 2019 Yeaps it does lag quite abit when multiple tabs of Stake are opened. It actually shows the browser is consuming a large amount of memory!

nattekut Posted June 2, 2019 #21 Posted June 2, 2019 Never had that issue. the only times stake is lagging for me is when I have a bad internet connection but that has nothing to do with stake itself. beside that I never had issue with a lagging platform
