NEW RACE STYLE

As we all see few days ago Stake.com started races challenge.this is great but how fair is for the small players??

I would like to make a proposal.i dont think that this will be reality but its a good way for all players to participate and have the opportunity to win a race

My proposal is:

1) Every players can buy a ticket from stake which can cost from:

a) 10k sats

b)100k sats

c) 1000k sats

So they will he 3 races

2) Stake will give them the same chips (stakechips) that anyone can use to participate but every player will start with same balance and try to wager as more a he can. Then the players who win will be rewarded

Yes, I also think that the chances are not equal. The winner is the one with the largest balance and you can only make one bet on the minimum multiplier to take the first place. Your proposal could equalize the odds.

Yes, good Idea for fairness.  Maybe prizes to the first places and random prizes for other "n" players.  Good luck.

This actually sounds like a pretty good idea. So if say 50 people enter the 10k ticket race then there'll be a prize pool of 500k sats. 

I'm sure this wasn't Stakes idea but seems cool for us with a lower balance who'd like to wager and win too. Because the races at present even though there are 30 positions you need the bank roll to win. Having this Stake will also not lose and they should have a minimum number of participants for each different race. So say 10k ticket race would have maybe a minimum of 20 players and top 5 get a prize etc.

Umm the race is an event where people can take part to earn some good money and also win something and it is for stakes benefit not for the players benefit.

Well if it is based on the given suggestion then Races would be on a pay to enter basis, at the moment it is free to join for whoever with whatver minute balance they have even with a few hundred satoshis only.

Yeah i think its worth to try, because from i see in this races challenge, only the one who had a big balance can win the races. and not everybody have a big balances.

Hello there , yep this is a good idea we can try this if stake want to  . People with big balances are the most enjoying the race . I'm also enjoying the race even if im not in the top 100.

Lets see if the stake team read that.they will check it and maybe in future we can see something like this.I am sure that stake team is open to new proposals because day by day they become more friendly to most of players

Most of the times, its not to bad to be able to get in top 10 or even top 20, usually its enough to have wagered 0.5 ish btc to get a good place in the race, and cause they are relative common and short i think its good the way it is now, though would be nice if lower wager players could also join it in some way

That is actually kind of a neat idea.  I like the idea of it being a fare race . kudos to you for thinking of this.

This does sound like a pretty cool idea, just to give some of the smaller stakes players a chance to win.  The vast majority of players probably don't have enough to wager 0.5btc+ in the 45-60 minute time frames that the races usually last.

Interesting idea, in my opinion, with this type of race that will give a balanced impression + test your luck for processing the balance (chip) that is given. Give Fair Effects to all And maybe it can provide excitement in playing. Especially if it is included in the top 10 with known Stakers

I understand how difficult it is to get into the ranks of winners in the races but the idea that you give me is not so indirectly balanced it is almost the same as lottry or poker tournaments: / not races .....

I think this would be cool as some other kind of giveaway or promotion but it would be defeating the purpose the races serves.  Like someone else has said the races are for Stake as well as the players it helps them as much as it helps us if not more. It is def more.

I love what stake is doing. they give away lots of 'free' money every single day. but like stated above this races are created to make more money for the site instead of making money for players. A casino needs to create such things to boost their own income. During races the wagered amount increases astronomically cause everyone wants to make some 'free' money. So what they make from the house edge will be a lot higher during the race than on regular moments.

Don't get me wrong I think you have a very nice idea but in this way there is nothing in it for the casino.  Lets say 200 people join a 1k BTC race than 200K BTC prizepool will be generated which will be returned to top X of the leaderboard. In this way stake doesn't have any benefits of organizing the race unless they for example charge an fee to the entry price. But even if they charge a fee it will still be way lower than what they make during a regular race even if they give away 1,000$

If you see what stake is giving away daily than you start realizing how much money a proper casino platform is making on a daily basis.

I like this system, the only thing I would change is to make it a fixed buy in system where everyone gets the same amount of stakechips to play with. The price can be 100k satoshis for example. I think this will work well!

I still want a race like the one before that gives me a lot of time and prizes not only for 30 winners, if like now there might be many players who don't know about the race even though there is notice from the stake, maybe there are times when they are busy or there are other obstacles, for example given a lot of time for example 1 week maybe a lot of players will follow it

Although it is free to join with even with just a few sats, it's not that good since you won't win anything cause your opponents and you will have a huge gap in betting amounts. 

Gou's Idea is good because it allows players even with small bankroll a chance to win something in their own league. Of course it won't be that big, but it will still befun to compete with them like this

i like this idea, where players are given the same balance they use as wagered racing. this method is very fair in races and all players have the chance to win.

 

hope the owner sees this thread and grants this proposal

So guys thanks for answering this topic.maybe in few week will see something like that to happen here.it will be nice of stake team will add few more sats as reward for winners.for example i mean.

If ticket os 10k and there are 100+ players they can add 0.005 btc more

If ticket is 100k and there are 100+ players they can add 0.05 more 

If ticket is 0.01btc and there are 100+ players they can add 0.5 more

This would make it more easier for those who dont have big balances to be able to compete in the races as it was determined already those who have big balances overshadow those who do not and deters alot of others to even consider trying to compete in the competition in the first place.

I for one have only participated in two races so far and have placed 45th and 106th. I think that is out of the 6 races which has been held so far. I tried on the second day one was done and the other time was two days ago, I just gave up half way into them seeing even to get 30th place so to be able to receive some sort of prize from the pool amount was close to nil unless you had a substantial bank roll to begin with like most of the top 30th had and would just compete in the next race. This just made it seem impossible for someone will less than 0.1btc ready to even break the top 10 on the races leaderboard.
