Tipping Large in Public

Hey, I think they when they tip bigg amount publicly they dont realize how bigg risk they are taking.Personaly if I tip from my bank acc i newer do it publickly.Since the vault is here i think now many people use that not more acc.

That causes nothing more but spam. People who are actually want to make fun with beggars might do that frequently, or even people who are seeking for attention. I've seen people tipping their alts and when they got spammed, they were like, ''stop pming me'' and annoying stuff like that. If you wanna prevent the spam, just stay low! That's the golden rule in this chat.

I agree with everyone else that your just asking for inbox spam by doing this.    There’s a reason they offer public and private tipping.   Some people like the attention though.

I think its a risk and I also think its being a  show off, not to mention that's lame and makes you look desperate. The fact that you go out of your way to check the box so that people could see your tips (because that's how stake has updated it to be) says to the rest of the people in chat hey look at me I'm sending this tip LOL. (attention seeker) No offense to anyone this is just my opinion. :)

I tend to agree with the attention seeking thing.  I do like that you have the option to show or not show tips publicly, but I can't think of another reason to show it than someone looking or at least a little bit of attention.

I rarely tip publicly, especially large amounts, because I don't want a bunch of beggars to come and crucify me lol. Also because I can't afford to tip all my friends here and they might feel left out if I send a tip to only a few people, for whatever reason. I never send a tip to someone who asks but instead send to people who never ask.

I believe in the simplest sense some like there to be a form of proof in the transfer while some other wants to gain attention of tipping large to appear as wealthy.

It's pure attention seeking I think  Some people just like some show, well, if they really needs that, I don't care  I'm tipping my friends in private, because I simply hate zombies (beggars) attacks

Very well put.   I agree totally.    But some people also just don’t see a problem with it. They figure what’s it anyone’s business ...

I don't see the problem with tipping big amounts. Its up to them what they wish to do with their money at the end of the day whether they are showing off or not. Honestly, it is pointless being so critical sometimes people.
