barbaris Posted July 3, 2019 #26 Posted July 3, 2019 I do not use Bitcoin for purchases. I never prefer to do it for cash. I am not ready to pay large transaction fees if I can buy it cheaper for cash. Well, at least this is the case now, maybe in the future I will change my mind and start buying for Bitcoins.
rajamishra Posted July 3, 2019 #27 Posted July 3, 2019 hello friend in india crypto not so easy to buy due to ban but some time i recharge my mobile and DTH but hope some country its open in supermarkets and restaurants.may be after some years in india its unbanned we used in mainstream currency.
wngo123 Posted July 3, 2019 #28 Posted July 3, 2019 Usually I spent bitcoin on gambling but sometimes i order takeout and pay with bitcoin because there is big takeout portal in my country with many restaurants and one of the option is bitcoin payment.
bmg Posted July 5, 2019 #29 Posted July 5, 2019 Well if you consider putting bitcoin into a wallet and transfer on to a bitpay visa card and using it to shop well then I use bitcoin to shop pretty often. I love bitcoin and how far it was come .
Danifilth Posted July 5, 2019 #30 Posted July 5, 2019 I wanted to say that in some countries, it’s forbidden to buy anything for cryptocurrency in Russia and this is due to illegal sale of drugs and terrorism! so it's easier to translate into dollars and buy for them!
sichaoeloem Posted July 6, 2019 #31 Posted July 6, 2019 I have never made a purchase with Bitcoin until now. in my own country for buying and selling goods using bitcoin is still banned and there are no definite regulations for it 😑
neich Posted July 7, 2019 #32 Posted July 7, 2019 I do a lot of trading with crypto, but I just cash out to my bank account when I want to use some of the money. i wouldn't even know where to buy things with crypto, and I never really thought about it before

I would like to pose this question to all Bitcoin enthusiast as to how often do you actually purchase things with Bitcoins? For example such as for shopping, purchase of video games, entertainment and services. With the price volatility happening everyday, your purchasing power often keeps changing with the Bitcoin price. So do you just mainly use Bitcoin for the purpose of gambling or do you frequently use it for purchases too? (As in without changing in into fiat currency but to purchase things with Bitcoin itself) On a regularly basis. Pizza, video games, gift cards for amazon. I bought a lot of stuff with crypto already. Even things like Electronic devices and what not.
FotisNt Posted July 8, 2019 #34 Posted July 8, 2019 these companies often make international transfers within a few days, and at the same time charge a huge fee for their services.
fantastic209 Posted July 8, 2019 #35 Posted July 8, 2019 I have not tried to buy bitcoin Bitcoin. I find that if we use Bitcoin to buy things, it's a bad thing
maksimmus2 Posted July 12, 2019 #36 Posted July 12, 2019 I haven’t bought anything for cryptocurrency, because now I’m buying something for it, because right now it’s very inconvenient and unreliable.
nuuuitsjdragon Posted July 15, 2019 #37 Posted July 15, 2019 Quite rarely. Mostly services like VPN(s) etc. but not really like a physical item. However, if more retailers did offer it as a mode of payment I would definitely use it as switching from Crypto>Fiat as I do now to purchase items is an extra step! 😁
cryptofly Posted July 15, 2019 #38 Posted July 15, 2019 up to date, so far, I have never purchased nothing but other cryptos to trade. There are few stores in my city where you can stop by and do purchase, mostly food. But so far I have never been doing it. Maybe in the near future as I understand very well that mass adoptions is exactly that, to use bitcoins and all cryptos. Good luck.
bobdole Posted July 15, 2019 #39 Posted July 15, 2019 Very seldom have I made a purchase with bitcoin, mostly because if I have it I cash out to fiat very fast. On a few occasions I have purchased a vpn subscription, some gift cards, and some other software but It's rarely more convenient to do so just because confirmations are slow compared to just using a card.
