wngo123 Posted July 3, 2019 #1 Posted July 3, 2019 Hello guys, What in your opinion is the minimum balance for race that would allow for a chance to have the following places: a) from 10th to 1st b) from 20th to 1th c) from 30th to 20th Of course you can give estimated amounts. I have absolutely no experience in races and because of the time that is taking place I'm usually at work. But in the following days I may want to join and try my luck. What do you think the balance should be at minimum from your own experience or from what you have seen around? Thank you
Mateusz Posted July 3, 2019 #2 Posted July 3, 2019 Just do the calculations by yourself. If the 1st person wagered 10 bitcoins, then if u wanna beat him using house edge you need to have 0.1btc+ because constant betting like 50k satoshi on games with 1% house edge will end up busting u 0.1 and giving u 10btc wager.
Aazzah Posted July 3, 2019 #3 Posted July 3, 2019 From 1st-10th... I reckon you need atleast 1k$ in balance. I have never become top 10 or even top 20. I have come to top 30 once... But, I think you need atleast 45$ To stand any chance against all of these other people wagering a ton of crpyto.
williamshennie9 Posted July 3, 2019 #4 Posted July 3, 2019 It really depends on your luck, I mean if you have 0.01 btc, it is possible to wager that many times over before you bust. However, I'm not sure what the best way to wager it would be. I would go on dice 1.01x, but even that can make you bust.
GKD09 Posted July 3, 2019 #5 Posted July 3, 2019 Sorry not able to really help you for the positions you have asked, because I have only gone there twice long time ago. I reached the 30th to 40th position back to back by wagering around 3k to 5k sats quite constantly for 1 hour or 45 min race. Having lost lots of coins during my last race I decided to stop for a while, and then I was just wagering - not for the race but was continuing what I was doing before. Was betting 800 sats from the beginning till the end for 1 hour and was able to just reach under the 100 positions. I was constantly around the 96th to 98th and then to 100 and back. I think if you have a decent balance and a strategy, you could definitely get a place
Dezgun Posted July 3, 2019 #6 Posted July 3, 2019 you need to have the largest balance possible to compensate for the failures that may be.

I recently wagered a small amount for around 10k rolls on dice with a 1.01x payout and the number of times I busted was around 25 which is kind of crazy if you think about it. Lost consecutively a couple of times too.
Kate Posted July 4, 2019 #8 Posted July 4, 2019 For the first 10 the minimum amounts should be like 1 dollar at least and for the the next 10 would be 50 cents and for the next 10 would be 25 like half half and half.
polor12 Posted July 4, 2019 #9 Posted July 4, 2019 this is not a race,,, because everyone is on different balances.. is not even.. so any balance you have will do.. as long you have the most wagered to be ranked to the top 30 or 100.. just say the balance you have would be enough where you can lose a few rolls,,, and still can recover without worries. it is fun.. just betting high and getting the payout 1.5x for each roll.... as long you wager high on each roll.. very fun.. put everyone on a even field and we can see who really plays smart with the balance they have.. that would be a race to look forward to in joining...
yololife222 Posted July 4, 2019 #10 Posted July 4, 2019 Hey, you newer know whats the surtyen amount A - 500$ B - 250$ C - 100$ and the rest . 50$-1$
HighDamage Posted July 4, 2019 #11 Posted July 4, 2019 At a minimum, the highest ranking will change according to the length of time the racers and prizes have been provided. (but not only that, sometimes there are those who play with very large bets to prove they don't want to lose)
Enzo Posted July 4, 2019 #12 Posted July 4, 2019 Geez, from 10th to first maybe 0.5 BTC minimum? Or 0.75. From 20th to 11th Probably around 0.05 BTC would be ideal. And then from 30th to 20th you could probably do with as little as 0.01 would make me the most comfortable. I do better with a higher balance though.
CaptainAAA7 Posted July 4, 2019 #13 Posted July 4, 2019 Its totally depend on ur luck. one time i have achieved 13th rank in race with 10k doges. (Wagered around 700k doges in that race) but i am lucky that day.
Etude Posted July 4, 2019 #14 Posted July 4, 2019 Well to secure a good spot while having the ability to maintain your bankroll with playing for recovering losses, I would say you will be needing at least 0.002BTC bankroll. Of course the larger your bankroll size the more advantageous you are.
cryptofly Posted July 4, 2019 #15 Posted July 4, 2019 Can`t truly say a specific number for that, specially when strategies are different. Like if you are going to auto-bet roll with 1.01x with large bets you need a big balance to sponsor this strategy. But If you will race using your regular way to bet you need the balance you use to use and wait for a big hit to increase your bet and be part on any of those places. Good luck.
Kippo Posted July 4, 2019 #16 Posted July 4, 2019 It can’t guess exactly because this is wagering race. But i can tell you that is you balance should be greater than 0 to participate in race 100%

This way they either win 1.00x or 0.98x, but either way, they lose money with each bet (or break even at least).

Maybe 0.1 btc is enough to snag that 10th position. b. I tried countless times and 0.01 is more than enough for this c. 0.001 since not so many people actually participate in the race as you might think. Most of them are just there for the ammo. HAHA
nattekut Posted July 4, 2019 #19 Posted July 4, 2019 I once managed to end in top 100 with only a 10k satoshi starting balance. firstly I started with mines 1 mine 24 diamonds and just went all in on every bet. I was lucky to hit 30 greens in a row which grew my balance to around 40k. Then I switched to plinko. Every low pin with a min payout of 0.7 is a good one to do the race. You can do 1.01 dice as well but there is always a possibility to bust your bet. With plinko you will never bust your entire bet cause you minimum win back 70% of your basebet. I did races in this way several times and for example the closest I ever got was with a 0.1ETH balance about doing 200k ETH bets on plinko low 13 or so. I managed to wager around 7ETH in 60 minutes, ended up around 25th place and in some way I ended with 0.13ETH. So during the race I also made some profits on my starting balance
Fikoloc Posted July 4, 2019 #20 Posted July 4, 2019 If you take the calculator and calculate the minimum for the first place = the amount of the person who is now in the first place But since you may not have this amount, well, or you are too afraid to risk, then I think it's worth taking 1/1000 or 1/10000 from the amount that is now in the first place and twist on a small profit to lose as little as possible and not lose your balance. So when there is a competition with a prize for 100 winners, your cost per lesson place 80-100 should be not such big, as to 1-10 so that to take them would be easier, so if you take 1/10000 of first place for a few rolls will be able to take 100 place. Good luck if you try to take places in the race!
neich Posted July 4, 2019 #21 Posted July 4, 2019 My best run on a race was actually the time where I had the smallest balance. I started the race with only 10k Satoshi and played dice on 1,01 payout with 150sat wager autobets. My autobet tings were running until the end of the race. At the end I was at 11k Satoshi with a wager of 0.027 btc what took me to rank 56
FotisNt Posted July 4, 2019 #22 Posted July 4, 2019 Well, depends on how someone plays on race. Someone who bets high with low multipliers might even need a balance of $2000 or more. Someone who's just patient, might even win out of a balance of 0.02 or less! Someone who's trying a position from 30 to 20 might need a balance of even 20k sats. Depends on how he bets aswel.
