polor12 Posted August 4, 2019 #1 Posted August 4, 2019 with all the new alt coins and also stable coins that are coming out and the recent coins that stake have.. would it be a good ideal for them to start using credit or debit cards to purchase coins from stake.,,?? really getting annoyed with this other platforms.. having to give proof of identity for major purchases. not only that the hold they put on it.. if we buy straight from the casino.,no worries about the fees and probably proof of id.. would stake ever considered doing it.>>>
Enzo Posted August 4, 2019 #2 Posted August 4, 2019 That would come with a whole bunch of regulations and new laws they'd have to follow. They likely will never do something like that because it's a LOT of trouble. If they ever did something remotely like it, it'd probably be opening a different site thats affiliated and supported by stake. They would definitely not want to restrict already wagering players because of regulations on the site that making it essentially an exchange would come with.
Aazzah Posted August 4, 2019 #3 Posted August 4, 2019 hey there polor I mean, I reckon that this would be a very awesome idea. I would for sure buy coins from stake using a credit or debit card... Or even paypal or something. I would really love to stake do this. I really would. I do face the same problem that you do... I get annoyed by keep giving my id and stuff to the sites. It just would be a lot more easier if stake added this I agree with you! Have a great day and best of luck playing everyone
SLFJ Posted August 4, 2019 #4 Posted August 4, 2019 Hey Polor, I think it would not be possible, just because of the laws and other things as Enzo said, so yeah it either would come out after a very long time or would never come out, because it will take so many more steps to make for Stake for this kind of a thing. Kind regards, slfj.
BLXN Posted August 4, 2019 #5 Posted August 4, 2019 If you purchased house tokens, and then converted them upon withdrawal that might circumvent some legality issues, however it seems like it's a lot of work, and probably more work than it's worth to the devs-- there are many people out there that do not have a difficult time acquiring crypto -- places like coinbase make it incredibly easy (too easy- even with KYC) to drain one's bank account into this place. ... .......been there.... lol --

In order to be able to accept credit/debit cards there are certain conditions the business must meet otherwise it won't be accepted by banks. I don't think they would allow stake as online casino to just accept credit/debit cards without getting the licence in the countries they operate, so in other words they would need to meet requirements as fiat online casino and that would require them to take expensive licences and meet many requirements in many countries and those requirements are different in different countries. The result would be that stake would not be available in many countries around the world. Right now because they are pure cryptocurrency casino those rules don't apply to them. Additionally they would need to basically open currency exchange and that would require getting licence in many countries as well. In other words is not the easy thing to do for stake and maybe better that they don't approach this because many of us could loose access to stake. However I'm looking forward to what they will come up with. Of course it would be much easier for stakers to just be able to get coins right on the website paying credit/debit card. For sure I would use that option for myself.
StakeXRP Posted August 4, 2019 #7 Posted August 4, 2019 Hi Friend, We are in world of Crypto gambling. To Gamble here we need Cryptocurrency. To Buy CryptoCurrency in market we using different websites, but so many of them charge quite high charges to buy cryptocurrency like 5%-10%. Is it possible to stake.com to provide option where we pay them via debit card and get cryptocurrency in our stake account with some small charges compare to other websites. High roller users can bear this charges but small user can't afford this. Hope we can expect this option on our stake.com in near future.
Enzo Posted August 4, 2019 #8 Posted August 4, 2019 There are a lot of regulations and laws regarding selling crypto currency in different locations. I wouldn't expect Stake to add a feature like this anytime soon. It's just not likely.
SLFJ Posted August 4, 2019 #9 Posted August 4, 2019 No and no, one tipic was created about this thing and the reviews and posts weren't the best regarding this situation and it wont be added soon, or ever added, it would just take too much of the owners time just for this thing, I don't think that's very worth for the time being for them too, but maybe, in the future. Kind regards, slfj.
williamshennie9 Posted August 4, 2019 #10 Posted August 4, 2019 I think someone has asked this before, and the main reason, form what I remember is that the regulations for accepting USD and other fiat currencies would be too much.
williamshennie9 Posted August 4, 2019 #11 Posted August 4, 2019 Stake once said that the reason that they won't add fiat currency (or allow fiat deposits) is because the regulations are just too much. I think it would be a huge burden on Stake if they start accepting USD.

Kate Posted August 4, 2019 #13 Posted August 4, 2019 Umm it would cause trouble in stake to be honest because if there is a transaction done by mistake then if they want some type of refund support members will have more work and wont be able to help others.
Kinou Posted August 4, 2019 #14 Posted August 4, 2019 Good idea I agree! No more 5-10% fees when I want to buy crypto.. Credit card, PayPal or something like that could be really good
Kate Posted August 4, 2019 #15 Posted August 4, 2019 Another same topic was created by someone else . Why do people want to buy directly from stake ? There are so many sites out there that provide this service just buy from them easy.
manas Posted August 4, 2019 #16 Posted August 4, 2019 That is not a good idea there are regulations and all country have different regulations so it better not start buy option here rather than exchange is a good option so players can do it quick and in low fees. but buying is not a good option

God only knows how many hoops there are to jump through and what regulations there are, so i really doubt this will happen.

When we can use debit card or something like that, stake will almost perfect i think. They should add this feacture as soon as possible and that was seem really nice.
barbaris Posted August 4, 2019 #19 Posted August 4, 2019 In many countries, the use of cryptocurrency is prohibited and I think that these people will not be able to use such a card. But making this offer on Stake will give an opportunity to those who have such a card certain privileges in the form of a low commission for a transaction. The more payment methods the better.
XRP Posted August 4, 2019 #20 Posted August 4, 2019 It save me time if I can buy here instead of provider but it mean they will need licence loves and they are gamble site not a platform for buy and sells 😘 but it yes would save more time for me if more was offered so we can play more quick

I bet it would take a whole lot of work though and the laws they would have to check into is probably what is discouraging them from doing so. But is a phenomenal idea.
barbaris Posted August 4, 2019 #22 Posted August 4, 2019 I do not think that this will ever be added to Stake, but it is an additional payment method that will make a wider range of funds available for depositing money to the site.
DaDude Posted August 4, 2019 #23 Posted August 4, 2019 Ive heard eddie or other admins one time saying that will never happen so its best not to keep our hopes up. Good night everyone 🌃
Tokyo06 Posted August 4, 2019 #24 Posted August 4, 2019 I don't think it's a good idea, first of all because it would be complicated to do and then according to the laws each country has its own rules regarding crypto
wry Posted August 4, 2019 #25 Posted August 4, 2019 Whenever an exchange on Stake is mentioned the regulatory burden of running one is extensive and would introduce many new regulations. Unless Stake moves to a country with almost no regulations, I don't see anything like this happening, though I do wish it was easier to buy crypto. That barrier has ALWAYS been an issue. Apparently, there was a time when you had to send people cash in the mail to buy crypto!
