dhiarahmouni Posted August 4, 2019 #26 Posted August 4, 2019 I dont think that is gonna happen cause every country have its own crypto rules but u can find a lot of platforms to buy what ever u want these days and u can even choose between platforms for the fee deferance
blueprints Posted August 4, 2019 #27 Posted August 4, 2019 I dont think theres much you could buy from a casino other then financial instability and temporary pleasure and entertainment!
cryptofly Posted August 4, 2019 #28 Posted August 4, 2019 When a credit card arrives to a site in order to create business, purchases and sales, the central banks will take position and will bring many security rules, which is not bad, and many citizen restrictions. I don`t think that STake needs that right now. Maybe Stake only "needs" to include a Stable coin among the coin list and why not, create a internal exchange platform for users to exchange coins; all this with the obvious fees. I don`t think a credit card (visa/master) would be a good idea at this particular moment when the ecosystem is on a big and fast development yet. Just my opinion. Good luck.
nikowin88 Posted August 25, 2019 #29 Posted August 25, 2019 Hi there, Juste as Enzo said. The thing is to accept credit card payment you have to play with banks rules to say it simple. Eddie already answered this in the first stream he made few month ago. And in his vision Stake should remain a crypto casino for 2 main reason : anonymity and remaining free from. Banks regulation rules. So as he said it's not in the plan to accept one day credit cards and it's probably never happen here. But yes to say it's really hard to buy any coin without fulfilling ID check. But I guess most of us already have at least one or two crypto retailer we use. I mean you just have to do it once and after that you're good for life so... And if for some kind of reason you really don't want to do that I'd check there always alternative ways. Like localbitcoin ( not sure it's the exact name) this site that allows peer to peer transaction and out together someone who wish to sell some crypto and someone who wish to buy some. I'm pretty sure that you can find other ways in Bitcointalk too. But yeah it s not that easy. Another way could be using another casino that accept credit card and allows bitcoin withdrawal. The first that comes to my mind is 1xbet.i know it bc it s like that I got my first btc. I deposit € , played some, won some and withdrew with btc. But obviously we fall to the first statement. If that casino accept credit card he would have asked you to verify yourself before any withdraw...
Bahalanaooo Posted August 25, 2019 #30 Posted August 25, 2019 maybe soon they add that but they focus on the added games etc.
nathantor Posted August 25, 2019 #31 Posted August 25, 2019 i agree with this, this is safe since it stake.com will run it, i trust stake more than any other 3rd party, better to be able to depo or buy satoshi using debit or credit cards on stake. more convenient.
StoneDragon Posted August 25, 2019 #32 Posted August 25, 2019 Its seems good and bad idea same time i thinks, stake may lose alot people, since there is a laws on some country about gambling, kys alot people dont like this, seems to much work, they may try make to make some deals with other wallets, deposit there and maybe sent here super low fees or something something like coinwitch(but something better).

Apparently, there was a time when you had to send people cash in the mail to buy crypto! mean this is really impossible? or just alot of things to consider first before you can implement it? like some legal things right? and it will be more tideous.

Not really impossible. But again last time Eddie was asked about the possibility of adding credit card he said he didn't wish to add such a feature for the moment and in the future bc it was opposite to all what crypto currency represented and stake too as a cryptocasino. So not impossible but yet it won't happen anytime soon

Well only thing I can say is what I said in previous post. He didn't talked about the need of hiring more ppl ( considering the last month recruitments I don't think this is true) but as I said it's about the spirit of crypto ( anonymity and decentralized) that would be hurt by accepting credit card and regulations that come with. But everyone is free to think anything. Just ask Eddie next stream he will reply you I'm sure 👍

But you are right that other platforms got so many requirements just to buy crypto. This is a good idea though. But will take lots of time. Why do people want to buy directly from stake ? There are so many sites out there that provide this service just buy from them easy. Hmm maybe they are lazy too much? Or polor expect lower fee or easier transactions if this will happen.

Someone sends cash and the address they want the coins to and the coins show up when the cash is received. Cumbersome but possible and very common, especially back in the day. You can look through this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0 and see people doing it almost from the start of Bitcoin!
Xarv Posted September 19, 2019 #39 Posted September 19, 2019 This would be great, a friend of mine tested out Stake and busted, he wanted to buy more cryptos but got turned away for having to register to another site. As mentionned above I guess it's a bit hard for Stake to implement this, but perhaps they could partner up with a Exchange Platform ? I don't have much knowledge on regulations & laws about this so I'm just shooting in the dark here... but if it was possible, it would be great for lazy people like my friend lol.
