Well i think its totally a good decision, so everyone in the forum cant just withdraw with 2k satoshi instead, and i think it is not really hard to achieve 10k satoshi in this forum. except the minimum withdraw is 50k satoshi xD

It is ok to me, as I usually wait for more than 10k satoshis to move from forum to stake.  What would be the reason for this increasing amount?  The message says that is going back to its "original" 10k minimum withdraw, I wonder when those 10k became 2k or so.  I hope that this brings more valuable information to the forum, as a forum full of valuable info is very important to any community, specially this one who is quite special and always is active.  Let`s post valuable info.  Good luck.

Heya everyone!

So I'm sure we all saw the new announcement that the forum rewards have stayed the same, but the minimum cashout is now 10,000 satoshis and no longer 2,000 satoshis. Now the reaosn for this was the fact that the rate limit was often exceeded (probably to so many withdrawals in a short amount of time). I can agree, some people have said the forum is lagging, and the chat was filled with tiny tips from the forum.

Now the question I have for everyone, is this a good thing? Will cashing out at 10,000 satoshis motivate you to save up a bit, or will you withdraw the moment you hit that 10k mark? Let me know you thoughts :)

I am kinda bummed to be honest because I enjoyed doing those 2 or 4 thousand satoshi cashouts when in a pinch or when I really needed them quickly.   But it won’t stop me from withdrawing and will probably help me in the long run.

I think it is a very good thing!  While the run up in BTC price the forum rewards have become exceptionally valuable.  Frankly, I was worried they were going to cut the pay per post amounts, so this is way better.  It will keep people from posting spam and cashing out before anyone else can see their spam and report it or take moderating action.

While I can understand the instant gratification of withdrawing every couple of thousand satoshi, I think this is by far in the best interest of the long term viability of the forum.

I completely agree with it as well, and frankly wouldn't be surprised if they raise the minimum transfer higher at some point.

I understand that the bot does not have time to cope and because of this they raised it from 2 to 10! I wanted to bring out this hour and that’s what gave me -

Hi Danifilth,

Your transfer has failed due to a service downtime issue.

The amount of 40000 satoshi's has been refunded automatically, which can be viewed on your transaction log.

Has anyone had this today?

I am having the same issue trying to transfer 45k sats.  I opened a thread in the support section, so we'll see what happens.

I think its actually a smart improvement and it definitely reduces the tip spam from forum account... It now takes a little bit more effort to cash out, which is good! :P

well to be honest i think is for the best indeed, everyone spamming on the forum and cashing out at just 2k ( not like i did not do it). i noticed the bot spamming the forum withdrawls. and with 10k satoshi we all get a better chance to make someting out of it

I think it'll help me save satoshi. That way if I have like 5000 left over after withdrawing 20k+, I won't come back and rage withdraw it after losing the initial withdraw. Especially if i'm on max post limit :P So i don't think it's a bad thing. I think users with less posts/less rewards per post will not like it at all but I don't really think it's a big deal even for them. They should just see it as incentive to rise up in the forum ranks and get to where that won't matter. Because today for example, it took me 15 minutes to earn my current balance (22.9k) so what do I have to complain about? 😛
