Ilovestake2019 Posted August 19, 2019 #1 Posted August 19, 2019 Try to picture a day in which your gambling day starts with chasing losses. You've already spent $500 but just when you are at $70, you make it back to $1500. You go on and get to $3000. A voice in your head is telling you to withdrawing your winnings and head home but you keep imagining that this is your luckiest day on earth. Before you realize it, all your winnings are gone. There's nothing as horrific as losing money then beginning to think about what you'd do with all that money. I guess in such instances, it is best to stay away from gambling for sometime. Other people can never do this though, they'll keep trying their luck.
wowa24 Posted August 20, 2019 #2 Posted August 20, 2019 It is impossible to stop when you have reached a certain amount .... every time you tell yourself, now I’ll fan up to that amount and withdraw, but you merge. You need to play with a cold head and a clean mind, and not with emotions that you have lost some.
CntryBoy Posted August 20, 2019 #3 Posted August 20, 2019 We have to realize at times like this that our good luck will not last forever. Setting goals and being disciplined are key here, and we have to force ourselves to withdraw before we give back all of our winnings. If we don't have the mental strength to do this we will never be successful.
Vlademore Posted August 20, 2019 #4 Posted August 20, 2019 I totally agree with you when we get a win in a row and we get a profit that multiplied sometimes that we wanted to withdraw to no so to withdraw because thinking maybe I could win a little more and it seems that is the wrong path that makes you regret because with your decision it made you totally lost and not left. do you regret that? if I am very sorry and do not want to be repeated again because when I play now I will withdraw any profit because I do not want to go back to experience a terrible and very painful defeat.
laron Posted August 20, 2019 #5 Posted August 20, 2019 I am very difficult to realize this if to recover so many losses and then try to recover with a small balance is very risky but depends on luck too, but in my opinion it's better little by little instead of having to force too much
Kate Posted August 20, 2019 #6 Posted August 20, 2019 That story you defined is wxactly the story that happens to everyone here i believe so and i think is true but of course smaller accounts not account like those huge because those are too big lol
ombrerico Posted August 20, 2019 #7 Posted August 20, 2019 This fever that plagues the player needs to be realized before all profit and even worse, all the player bankroll goes away. This sense of trust needs to be carefully and carefully received, to do the right thing, which is to stop or simply limit a percentage to bet.
SLFJ Posted August 20, 2019 #8 Posted August 20, 2019 Ah, I keep trying my luck every now and then and yes, I have done this, I made 0.4$ to 900$, I told myself if I get to 1000$ I'm cashing out, but what do you know, before that happened I busted, got over it in like 2 days. Kind regards, slfj.

Kind regards, slfj. I think we have pretty much all been in these situations a time or two. We always think back and wish we would have just cashed out instead of taking big chances to make even more. But as they say, hindsight is 20/20. We just have to force ourselves to accept that this can happen and withdraw before it's too late.
StakePay Posted August 21, 2019 #10 Posted August 21, 2019 hahaha I always make small withdrawals like 100xrp - 200xrp. It happen with me some time but not as big as u told like 3000$. small gambler like me never expect big amount like 3000$ in any gambling session. it might possible in future when i have good amount . But clearly say i m always control myself so many time and make withdrawal if i win expected amount. last time i won 70k doges unexpectedly and my mind say now u have good balance and u can make it to 100k. but i stopped over there and first withdraw 60k doges and later continue my play. If we not going to stop gambling at particular interval it result in bust. on single day we can get good luck as well as bad luck.Entire Day is not lucky only small part of it lucky. one day i busted around 16k doges (i thought now its difficult to me to achieve same amount in next few day) but unfortunately i got tip of 10 xrp from friend and i made around 250xrp from them. this thing just happen within 15min of time.
sheenazbay Posted August 21, 2019 #11 Posted August 21, 2019 You are right, there are times when we are on the verge of losing instead making it a big win, and we should stop the game and withdraw it. but humans are always greedy, will always want to get more and more, and will realize it after everything is gone
Etude Posted August 21, 2019 #12 Posted August 21, 2019 Whenever I suffered a terribly big loss in gambling I would of course feel really bad about it but nothing more can be done about it once the money is already gone. It is best to try to learn from whatver mistakes noticed from that failure to secure the win and run with the money the next time. 😛
powerup1 Posted August 21, 2019 #13 Posted August 21, 2019 I have experienced it, maybe the best way, practice controlling our greedy lust, and I have learned that, hard? .. yes it is really difficult, but at the same time we try to control that greedy appetite. Good luck

The only thing we can do is move on since dwelling on the losses generally makes us more anxious because we have the want and need to recover them. We must move on and not let the losses dictate our future play, or we will repeat past mistakes.
echang426 Posted August 22, 2019 #15 Posted August 22, 2019 To get over a big loss I like to step away and go clear my head with a jog or a nice walk somewhere. The worst thing to do is stay at home and not do anything where you might start wallowing in the losses. Taking a step back may allow you to minimize the depression that may follow. Worse yet, if you bust a large amount you may feel compelled more to deposit again and aggressively bet to recover your losses which seldomly work out well.

I do the same thing... take a step back and clear my head. I have found that taking a walk really works for me most of the time. Come back clear headed and a bit refreshed and try to recover slowly and methodically.
wngo123 Posted August 22, 2019 #17 Posted August 22, 2019 Quote Try to picture a day in which your gambling day starts with chasing losses. Other people can never do this though, they'll keep trying their luck. Of course the best option would be to withdraw at $3000 however withdrawing at $1500 in this scenario would be a very wise choice and this is what i would recommend because you never know if you gonna actually reach that $3000... Once someone busted in this scenario for sure the best option would be not to return to gambling for a while because I'm sure they will be just more loses. I don't know why many people think that this is their lucky day, I don't think there is such thing as lucky day. Sure we have good days and bad days but it is just us imagining it. The truth is that we are having just lucky gambling session or a few bets lucky, it has nothing to do with lucky day, so people should stop saying that and lying to themselves that they gonna big win because it's their lucky day.
Thepug Posted August 22, 2019 #18 Posted August 22, 2019 I have recently been very unlucky. From now on, I will maintain my bets and keep a large bank roll, so that I have enough to wager for the stake races in my vault. I am going to save up over the next 1.5 weeks for not this one, but the next stake race. I am determined to get a bonus in that one!
cryptofly Posted August 22, 2019 #19 Posted August 22, 2019 Education and learning. You have to set a strategy to prevent exactly what you are talking about. When you set your limits and respect it you will enjoy your gambling experience, no matter if you are losing, the fact that you reach you "loss limit" will keep you save when you gets a lucky day with huge profit by knowing that you have to leave at that specific limit point. Once you reach your limits (up or down) you better leave at any cost so you can never have the feeling of you were scammed, or you are stupid or any other name you want to use. Greed is the worst enemy and the only way to defeat it is by having a limit strategy. Good luck.
ClashTitan Posted August 24, 2019 #20 Posted August 24, 2019 I play here recently and therefore I didn’t have big losses, but even 20k satoshi is a shame for me to lose, especially when your balance rises and then you play and don’t notice how on balance 0. Some people try to recoup after major losses, who it turns out, someone does not. And if you have already lost enough, it is better to take a break and rest for another hour, or better, day and then, with a fresh head, go and try your luck again.
blueprints Posted August 24, 2019 #21 Posted August 24, 2019 Other then direct physical pain, Time is the only way i know of to get over this kind of big loss. Its a very unpleaseant and horrible time. . . but like with all things, it doesnt last forever. Time will always fade it away especially sleep!
Jeazelle Posted August 24, 2019 #22 Posted August 24, 2019 I realize now that not all the you are lucky cause I loss big amount today hope soon I can recover.
zulfandina Posted August 24, 2019 #23 Posted August 24, 2019 before betting, losing or winning is a matter for later ... the most important thing is setting a target ... be it the target bet, the target of victory, the target of defeat, or even the target time when betting .. if the target is available, prepare yourself before betting ... reread the target you will achieve ... if you win and reach the target, .. stop betting .. stop expecting more wins .. Do withdrawal because it is the best ... as well as when you experience defeat ... do not let all the deposions that you do disappear entirely ... stop when defeat has reached its target ... do not force you to win back ... good luck is sure to come, it's just that we don't know when that luck will accompany us on the bet ...
Futurefarmer Posted August 24, 2019 #24 Posted August 24, 2019 After a big win I withdraw and then force myself to redeposit it if I wanna continue
