How to not be greedy

Anyway

I'm sure that tons of you would have that one point on stake - "oh my god i lost 100 doge i need to make up for the loss". You put in 200 doge bet hoping martingale would work.. then you lose.. and then you lose.. and again.. and finally poof! Out of balance..

Now how do you prevent yourself from being greedy?

1. Bank it!

The best option in stake.com so as to restrict yourself from using all your balance.

If you have a big bankroll, you will be tempted to bet big! and that comes with great risk and you can lose all as usual.

So what i suggest is that vault 90% of your earning whenever you win. ( profit ). Also, if you have a balance of 67.1937568634 and all those numbers, don't think that you should round off your balance by playing more. It's just an excuse to your brain. Vault it! And round off your balance to 65. Do this with all currencies and you can slowly see your vault filling up with huge amounts of money.

I also suggest vaulting rains you receive.

2. Lock it!

Let's say you have won a great amount of money ( say 5000 doge). Then you would be so happy and then continue to play. And then you lose all! ( I'm sure you had a case of that :P) 

So what you can do is ( if you have 2FA enabled) you can lock your account for a while by not using your android phone or something like that.. i don't use 2FA so i'm not a pro in that area.

3. Slap yourself!

The best way to not bet anymore after big profits or with big bankrolls is to slap yourself. Or give yourself a pinch. Whatever you fancy!

I prefer to leave my balance to a friend who can be trusted because I know if I only keep it in the vault usually it is less epektip for me, but when left with a friend that my new balance is safe from defeat

if I already get a decent profit then I will save it in vault or if it can be withdrawn then I will withdraw it instead of playing it and busted it is better to save or directly exchange it for real money and to buy beers and snacks 😁

very good points for managing our bankroll, but not all users do it. there are some users who play all their balances with small bets, so if you get a long red, they can still continue ,. but however your advice is very good. thank you for sharing

I am not sure if this works or not as I have not tried it.  Otherwise I agree with what you've said.  Greediness gets the best of us all from time to time, and almost always ends badly....

All of this are true. I just wanna add something to it.

Before you go inside a Casino to gamble, Ask yourself first with this following question:

1.  Why do you want to gamble. 

2. if Im gambling for profits, then what is my target profit. 

3.. How long am I gonna stay in the to gamble.

Now put your answers in  the yours need to be very ;

The the main problem of greed is yourself. So, make sure your the who is in control.

Well not so big list of rules here to stay away from greed. But some small good point. Having big balance on game always force to place big bet. By making big bet we can get much profit quicker. That's why we try to make big bet when we have good balance but this is surely greed. We should keep most of the fund safe away from rolling. We can use vault. And keeping fund in lock by 2fa is effective too.

In order not to be greedy, you need to lose a lot once, so that it becomes a good lesson for the future. This method helped me very well. I play recently and at first I played very carefully and carefully without making big bets, but somehow wild excitement absorbed me. When playing, I started a series of defeats and when I lost, I raised the X2 bet, and I played so much that I didn’t notice how the balance began to sharply approach zero. And thank God that I managed to notice this at the very end when 30% was left from the balance. And then I abruptly stopped and came to my senses. I disagree. There are people who lose constantly and still they deposit and waste a lot of money and continue to lose. Greed is taking over them and every time they lie to themselves that this time they gonna win.

I totally agree with you. If you play without a head, you can lose everything. You won’t even have money for beer. Therefore, it is better as soon as I came to a conclusion from the stake. Need to withdraw in real money.

I'm sure most of people here realize these things, including me. Yes we know lots about money management and self-discipline. I try to apply them but always fail. These things are quite simple but extremely hard to follow. I guess the gambling business prosper not on the house edge but more on human imperfections. The main rule that I would give people is that they "should never gamble anything that they can't afford to lose". Only put in money in to gambling that you are happy in losing and don't expect to get the money back. If you lose money, that is it, it is gone. You shouldn't care about these losses as anything that you put in to gambling, you should financially afford to lose.

I don't think that's actually works to stay away from greediness. Losing big just make disappointed and sometimes broke our mentality. At this point if you take decision that you will not make big lose and be greedy again you can't follow it. Human mind is set to greediness.. People can hardly stay away from it. And where money matters greed just pup up from everywhere. Maybe before starting you make a goal and will stop there. But after starting good and win enough you will always want more. You will lose your promise to yourself.

to be honest greedy isnt a bad thing,.. the rich doesnt stay rich for not being greedy, greedy is word that was made up by people wants what other people have.. is the people choice who to share or not share their wealth with others. cant really hate on that.. some people did work hard for it,,,
