wngo123 Posted September 16, 2019 #1 Posted September 16, 2019 Here is the list of the most stupid things you can do as stake gambler: 1. Spend more than you can afford hoping you win money back 2. Take loans to gamble 3. Using your prizes, awards from stake to play right after you receive them instead of keeping them and try to get more prizes until they add up and you get nice balance amount so you can play (This is actually Eddie's advice from live stream, he said we should get as many prizes as we can and then play) 4. Continue to play without break or changing the game/strategy when you see that you are losing balance really quick (I make this mistake all the time) 5. Desperately trying to win back what you have lost, chasing your loses is never a good idea doesn't matter how high your balance is!

sheenazbay Posted September 16, 2019 #4 Posted September 16, 2019 everything you say is completely true, but the dumbest thing I do is when I play dice, play on the 2.2x multiplier with 100% on loss. after doing a few rolls and I got a decent profit, I replaced the 9900x multiplier. I plan to play flat for 5000 rolls and if it hasn't hit, I will raise 2x bets and make 5000 rolls again, but I made a stupid mistake, I forgot to reset the on loss on the 2.2x multiplier I used before. so I played 9900x with 100% on loss. I lost without me knowing. I noticed when I saw an "insufficient balance" notification
Forceowl17 Posted September 16, 2019 #5 Posted September 16, 2019 Dont withdraw 30$ and lose all. I need only 0.1$ to withdraw my dota 2 item and i lose it all👌
ooleg Posted September 16, 2019 #6 Posted September 16, 2019 I think that losing all the money thinking that you will win back is a stupid mistake

Thanks for the list i agree on most except for the collecting of prizes to build up a good balance. i would agree on it if you are thinking of cashing out, but if gambling with the money is your goal at the end, why not use the small prize to win big rather collect prizes for days to gamble ? and if after collecting so many prizes with patience for many days, you bust it within few minutes, you will be discouraged to save again! Idk if that's actually Eddie's advice, but if it's, Eddie how do you like my points against this lol ?
Mahdirakib87 Posted September 17, 2019 #8 Posted September 17, 2019 Point to be noted agree with you. We lose for many reasons and we play unplanned game. You describe some of these thing there. We shouldn't spend more then we can afford and shouldn't play with loan. And we need to change our strategies from time to time. Otherwise it wouldn't give good result.
jualid Posted September 17, 2019 #9 Posted September 17, 2019 Point 1,3,4 and 5 is totally me. Luckly i never take a loan for gambling, it's a no no for me. Never gamble using other people money, it will make a new problem in the future.
Khubulski Posted September 17, 2019 #10 Posted September 17, 2019 When u are drunk and dancing alone😀
Ali saher Posted September 17, 2019 #11 Posted September 17, 2019 1. I play just in a limit and I see how much I afford for playing because this is a gambling and I not take so much risk on this that's why I use just my extra money for gambling. 2. No I not take loan or friends money even if I lose my extra money I not use my pocket money on gambling I think if you take loan or friends money or you need money use in gambling then you face so many problems. 3. Yes when I receive reward bonus or other prize I play after receiving and mostly I lose prize money on the time. 4. I play just for small time set a goal when I see I got my goal I take break and after some time then play. 5. Yes when I lose some my balance then I try to recover and some time I successfull to recover but mostly I lose this time because when I lose some then I not play normally game then I play risky
zulfandina Posted September 18, 2019 #12 Posted September 18, 2019 I did not do that ... at least 1 of 4 ... because I prefer a deposit rather than a play of prizes ... Gambling has only two directions ... Win or lose ... finish
675675 Posted September 18, 2019 #13 Posted September 18, 2019 the stupidest thing in gambling is to invest all your money in them

Thepug Posted September 19, 2019 #16 Posted September 19, 2019 I think that I could add a bit to the list 6. Don’t bet anyone as it will just get you muted or banned 7. Scamming is for scumbags and if you scam on Stake, Eddie will Thanos Snap you 8. Be over 18. Come on, just wait and you’ll realise how much money is worth.

Yes, it is very annoying, but what if the error ends in happiness? like forgetting to change the percentage of on loss after replacing a higher multiplier, but hit before the balance runs out
Khubulski Posted September 20, 2019 #19 Posted September 20, 2019 Most stupid thing which i have ever done is that I bet real madrid 40$ in champions league match to paris saint germain. Match ends 3-0 paris saint germain win. This is my stupid thing i have done in my life. Real madrid was without ramos, marcelo, asensio, isco, modric and they sold Cristiano Ronaldo.

Really all of these are important issues for a gambler, if you can have control over all of these situations you can always find your way to profit. Congratulations a great topic really.
sugam Posted September 21, 2019 #22 Posted September 21, 2019 Well the most stupid thing you can do is get greedy then lose everything and rage haha

I do not seem to agree with this one point, because I often play with borrowed money ... even with a large enough value ... however, to this day, I am still in a safe position and there is no debt at all that I have not paid off.
Goyst23 Posted September 22, 2019 #24 Posted September 22, 2019 The most stupid thing - it's when withdraw doesn't work, and u wanna place small bet, and then lost all...
Xarv Posted September 22, 2019 #25 Posted September 22, 2019 Agree with everything you've said, also I see alot of players max betting on low payout and being surprised they hit a red ... I mean come on man use maths lol
