mp3dotcom Posted September 19, 2019 #1 Posted September 19, 2019 I have a major gambling problem and i asked support to closed my account instead they ask me to e-mail..... As a result i lost my money today . This is basic all casinos have a option or you can tell support you want to close your account and its done immediately. I wish this site would implement that service i did self exclude right now but i would have saved $523 if you guys had that option
Mahdirakib87 Posted September 19, 2019 #2 Posted September 19, 2019 Sad to here it. But it's your problem. You shouldn't gamble if you. Addiction is very bad. If they ban your account and you are addicted you may create another account and play. So that won't be a permanent solution. You can do a thing by yourself, block all gambling site from your device. So that you can't visit to gambling sites.

Well I think there is always an option to close the account all you need to do is to email them. You really have serious gambling problem if you can't wait till they close it. I think you should contact specialist in r/t to help you because I don't think closing account at stake will help you at all since it's very easy to open a new one and this is what you probably going to do anyway after they close your account. Don't blame stake. Just look for help in r/t not online.
Alexsand Posted September 19, 2019 #4 Posted September 19, 2019 Unfortunately, of course😭. But here you yourself are to blame for the fact that you could not restrain yourself, you should not play, if you cannot resist, this is not entertainment, but dependence.
djonox Posted September 19, 2019 #5 Posted September 19, 2019 it is true that this feature is missing on the site when we want this restraindre a period of games at places of past share support for this request

A person always wants to be dependent on something, there's nothing he can do about it. This is our nature.
dadyu Posted September 19, 2019 #7 Posted September 19, 2019 Sadly.Next time, we should hold back and not gamble.
mp3dotcom Posted September 19, 2019 Author #8 Posted September 19, 2019 yeah but this is like a criteria all casino should have and its responsible tooo. Because when you are self excluded that will deter you from coming back of your head you know if you win you know there is a chance casino wont pay back winnings etc..
StefanoT Posted September 19, 2019 #9 Posted September 19, 2019 There's sites that have blocking system on gambling sites
sheenazbay Posted September 20, 2019 #10 Posted September 20, 2019 it's back to yourself, if you feel you are a bad gambling addict, then you should stop, if it's difficult, then stop slowly. and if you really want to stay away from gambling, then you don't need to access the gambling site. it can be done, depends on yourself

While you can ban your account on demand, you might faced difficulty when unban if it's too urgent. But, I think self exclusion too doesn't work. If you wanna gamble really, you will create another account lmao
wyj1306 Posted September 21, 2019 #12 Posted September 21, 2019 I think on the cryptocurrency betting sites I know only 2 have this option, but I think if the person went to support and inform the situation they should delete their accounts.
DCYuma Posted September 21, 2019 #13 Posted September 21, 2019 What if you got hack and the hacker is angry at you instead of getting your balance just self exclusion or account what would you feel not that the balance will be got and future bonus will be gone too so I disagree of it.
NoMoreBetsPlz Posted December 1, 2019 #14 Posted December 1, 2019 This is really shameful that some of the posters here criticize someone in need who is asking genuinely for help and not for criticisms or for you to give him no vital solutions for his problem. I have come up with an idea that would practically allow you, OP - to achieve what you wanted to achieve - at least in the future you'd be able to do that - see here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5205506.0 Basically what you need to do is simple: 1) Withdraw your Bitcoin from Stake.com which is done instantly, since they process instant withdrawals. 2) Upon withdrawal lock your Bitcoin as shown in the thread above for whatever time you define - 1 week, 1 month - you choose it. This way instead of losing the $500 - you would have it locked and you won't be able to spend it on gambling until the timelock has expired - which is in a way similar to self-exclusion. You can repeat the process as many times as needed with Crypto Gambling sites - hopefully this will deter you from participating in them in the long term.
Ayesha0770 Posted December 1, 2019 #15 Posted December 1, 2019 Why should stake put that as a settings? Isn't it more convenient if you ask directly to the support?
Kinou Posted December 1, 2019 #16 Posted December 1, 2019 Hello, I understand your problem.. I know it's hard to not play when you have balance on Stake. Best things do to when you want to close your account, it's to withdraw your funds directly in your wallet... Kinou.
tae40127 Posted December 1, 2019 #17 Posted December 1, 2019 you need to take sleeping pill after you win big and take some another activities so most of peoples that addict gamble are addict meth too i think so cant stop playing
nuuuitsjdragon Posted December 1, 2019 #18 Posted December 1, 2019 Agreed! I always wondered why there wasn’t a self-exclusion option on Stake as most of the other major establishments have pretty extensive options.
sugam Posted December 1, 2019 #19 Posted December 1, 2019 Yea you are right but you can contact the support through email and ban your account quickly without any problem ... They'll disable your account ... It just takes 2 mins mate ... that;s quick enough though
dkpiiit953 Posted December 1, 2019 #20 Posted December 1, 2019 Hello, All the casinos are unfortunately like his, it is necessary to go through the support to be able to close his account it is sad but at the same time why did you play if you want to exclude yourself self was not necessary to deposit ... or you do not do not have the right to complain, you are responsible for your money. I hope this will not allow you to repeat my friends Good luck for the future.
zulfandina Posted December 1, 2019 #21 Posted December 1, 2019 It seems like you have a problem with gambling. If you have a problem with gambling addiction, I think you can just close all gambling sites on your device or you can just sell everything you have that can lure you to gamble. if the support side hasn't closed your account, you could actually not gamble if you have a strong will to quit gambling. it's actually back to yourself. so don't blame the stakeholders. because this is your personal problem. I think that should be your action.

sahil777 Posted December 2, 2019 #23 Posted December 2, 2019 i dont think closing your account will be helpfull to stop gamble, its all depends on you wether you want it or not, and depends on your will power that how much you can control on yourself. just like a smoking addiction which is the most hardest thing to quit, if you close this account, there is a possibility you change your mind and make new account and start gamble again, you just need to be enough strong on your decission.
wngo123 Posted December 2, 2019 #24 Posted December 2, 2019 You could always open another account even under different IP if you really wanted to come back. I don't see any reason for self exclusion to be available at stake. People should be more responsible and take care of their addiction.
cukup2 Posted December 3, 2019 #25 Posted December 3, 2019 if you want to stop gambling I think it will be difficult because online gambling is easier to access anywhere so there is no need to stop playing gambling but stop wasting your money by not always making large deposits but enough with small deposits to reduce your losses.
