bitman007 Posted October 3, 2019 #1 Posted October 3, 2019 I was reading a news article about how betting on bitcoin prices may soon be deemed illegal gambling and saying many Regulators increasingly think crypto-derivatives are unsuitable for retail investors. anyone else read it? what do you think on it ?? it can be possible ?
Xarv Posted October 9, 2019 #2 Posted October 9, 2019 I don't really get it, how do you gamble on BTC's price exactly? To me it just sounds like Trading, so are they planning to ban trading BTC? And no, I havent read this anywhere, what's the source?
Meatris Posted October 9, 2019 #3 Posted October 9, 2019 I don’t think so. But anything is possible, it's the government

Shorting means that you sell something at on price, with a future delivery, hoping that the price then is lower than the sell price. Longing is different, as you buy BTC at current price, with a future delivery, hoping that the price has riced, to make you a profit.
Sumedang Posted October 20, 2019 #7 Posted October 20, 2019 How can that consider gambling, in my opinion it is called trade. And in my opinion it's suitable for retailers as long as it can be profitable.
rampagez Posted October 20, 2019 #8 Posted October 20, 2019 in my country online gambling always illegal. so its included BTC gambling. but, to banned BTC from investment kinda impossible. because inflation will happen. and i believe any goverment dont want tp do that
