Fun and Weird Altcoins

Sometimes I see some coins made only for fun or who have a weird concept.

So I was thinking to share some of them with you here and let you speak about it and share your owns.

1. PizzaCoin : http://pizzacoin.net/

The project is dead today but it was a mineable coin who was launched in august of 2016. Even if the coin disappeared she still have a price of $0.001 at coinmarketcap. Name of the token was PIZZA.

2. Tatoocoin Limited Edition : http://tattoocoin.net

Enjoy this unique special coin running on the first-ever cryptocurrency in dual/twin blockchain technology together with its standard coin. 
Collect as much as possible with this limited coin offer.  There is a standar version of the coin too, Tatoocoin. The price is steadily around $0.2 per coin but the 27 june 2017 the coin pumper up to 6.45$ for one day.

3. Golfcoin :

Launched in september of 2016 the coin was designed to be a digital currency and awards token designed primarily for the Golf Industry, the world's premier digital currency for golfers, clubs and courses. 1 year later there is some wallets to download but no website or anything about it, seem dead.

4. Pirates Block :

Announced in june of this year it's a POS coin who started welle enough (0.03$) but is already at $0.0018. Pirates Blocks go by the ticker : SKULL. They provide wallets, faucet, explorer, bounties, airdrop and even exchange at Novaexchange & Coinexchange. Maybe it's Luffy's coin ? 

5. Karma (ex-Karmacoin) : http://www.givekarma.net/

Like the philosophy behind the name, Karma stands for everyone reaping the results of his/her actions. By supporting good causes and helping others through Karma, Karma developers aim to make it the primary digital currency for rewarding good deeds and spreading good karma.

That's not a new coin since it's first iteration was launched in february 2014 and the value stay confidential until july 2017. Now this is rated at ... yeah ok, still nothing, $0.000099. Wallet, explorer, API, ... are available.

 

6. WeAreSatoshi : https://wsx-coin.com/

WeAreSatoshi (WSX) was created to remind everyone that each of us can make a difference in the world and to promote a sense of giving, care, and compassion within the Bitcoin community. The site is down so not sure what will come next but the coin still have a price of about 15 satos.

7. Motocoin :

Motocoin is a cryptocurrency utilizing an innovative proof-of-play scheme where coins can only be mined by cognitive workload - playing a 2D motorbike simulation game, which is different from Bitcoin and other crypto-currencies that use a proof-of-work scheme where miners must perform difficult computations and then use proof of that work to secure coin transactions and get their reward. Motocoin was historically dominated by bots, but is currently testing a new security model that better enforces balanced play. 

Launched in 2014 the coin has an actual value aroune $0.002.

Launched in july 2017, they plan to provide a high PoS of 60% per year (loool).

Going by the ticker Hallo, the coin was his main developper leaving the project after only few weeks. It will probably die soon since it was launch only faw months ago but meh, Halloween is not that far. Plus there is some faucets, exchanges, wallets, mining pools and all you need.

11. Indian Coin : https://www.indiacoin.club/

Probably launched by @rack001 & @Shinjo discretly to scam us.

High gain was released in September 28th, 2017 to reward all the real BTC holders that believed in cryptocurrency since it was unknown to most. The coins were distributed to reward long-time Bitcoin holders and people who invested hard into this cryptocurrency. 

Their goal is to create an exclusive Online Blackjack App inside High Gain Wallet. Each bet (made in GAIN currency only) will have a fixed 1% fee. Their BETA is coming for the 24th december.

Hello, stake. Along with all the altcoins, there are a few that have a really strange name or are getting obtained in a unique way that got your attention or made you laugh. What are the altcoins you've met and are funny or weird?

These are some altcoins I saw and I find them funny/weird:

- StalinCoin (STALIN) which is worth 1 Satoshi

- SexCoin (SXC) which is worth 514 Satoshis (pretty much, don't you think so for such a bizarre name?)

- PutinCoin (PUT) which is worth 109 Satoshis

- DogeCoin and CorgiCoin which are worth 39 Satoshis and 0.38 Satoshis

- PotatoCoin (SPUDS) which is worth 1 Satoshi

But the most ridiculous coin I've seen is WatCoin (WAT) (which is down right now and I don't think it is going to be live anymore)

A few of them are pretty popular, but also, I bet everyone laughed at least once because of their funny name. This thing proves that everyone can make a coin and that there are no limits when it comes to their names. I find it a little absurd as the coins are one of the defining things of a country. If you'd make your own coin, make a constitution, put a set of rules, discover some land that doesn't belong to anyone (or just make your own island), you can say that you've got a country of the size of an island.
