It has been some time now, maybe a few weeks or so that the "suggestions" feature and auto have not worked on VP. There have been quite a few that have mentioned it during challenges, but I have heard if it was removed or just needs to be fixed?
Ayesha0770 Posted November 26, 2019 #4 Posted November 26, 2019 Maybe theres some update where you can choose what to hunt on auto bet. Like 4 of a kind or royal flush? I noticed the auto bet on video poker I'm afraid to say this, but auto bet isn't really helping when you do auto bet. I mean you want to hunt for of a kind and you got 2 cards but there's more on a same figure like hearts of 3 or 4 spades cards. It will choose directly to hunt flush instead of what you wanted to hunt.

It does not highlight the best cards to be pick for the initial hand anymore asif the Suggestion function has no use now. Maybe it is something in the to-fix list for the developers.
zulfandina Posted November 26, 2019 #9 Posted November 26, 2019 I also feel lost by betting auto bet on video poker games. even though I often bet on this video poker game playing auto bet patterns. but it seems like the changes that have happened lately seem to be just an improvement in my opinion. or maybe there are certain goals with changes included in the video poker game with auto bet playing patterns. hopefully only a system error that might need a little repair
Shekhar1992GL Posted November 30, 2019 #10 Posted November 30, 2019 Ohh i don't notice that. but i aware that their autobet is not working from last 1-2 months, hence it removed i think so. there is problem in there system and they stop showing suggetion to hold cards so it not possible play autobet. and it totally removed same now.

It was not working for a few weeks, guess they removed it completely? Maybe they are tweaking it and/or fixing it.... not sure if or when it'll come back.

I don't plan to play video poker anymore without autobet. That was one of those games where you can't really play without autobet. It's just too slow.

I admit it's better to play video poker manually, but sometimes I need an auto game when I'm lazy to play manually.
defrostbyte Posted December 19, 2019 #14 Posted December 19, 2019 I found this frustrating, but I found it very odd considering how Video Poker here was advertised - "The Worlds First Fully Automated Video Poker" I mean why would it be removed when that was it's major selling point!? I can only hope that they're adding other versions of Video Poker and had to disable the autobet for that reason, but who knows.

wyj1306 Posted December 20, 2019 #18 Posted December 20, 2019 I didn't even realize that this happened because I don't usually play this game, but playing video poker on autobet is strange, I find it much easier and more efficient to play in the manual and decide the sequences on my own.

It's the only game I could leave on autobet and feel comfortable walking away for a few.
nuuuitsjdragon Posted December 20, 2019 #20 Posted December 20, 2019 Those who have done a little research on Perfect Strategy on Video Poker would know that the bot was a godsend... got me a little bummed out when I found out it was removed without reason. Just like a few other similar events before it, there weren't any public announcement to state the reason(s) - Plinko 5000x remake, Video Poker 4oaK payout 25x > 22x are a few examples to quote. It'll be good if the player-base is informed of any changes (not just through change-log), no matter how insignificant.

However, I'm keen to know as to why there aren't any plans (even if eventually) to bring the Auto-bet feature back? It's a real shame as Stake's VP Auto-bet was touted/advertised as one of the unique aspects among the many VP offerings, and helped to make the fact that it's not a full-pay Jack's or Better, a little better. ☺️

williamshennie9 Posted December 20, 2019 #25 Posted December 20, 2019 I wasn't too happy with some of the suggestions that the bot was making, so I can understand why they removed it. Some people might complain if that suggestions cause them to lose the hand.
