Seoulmate Posted December 7, 2019 #1 Posted December 7, 2019 Gmail have an option to unsend an email, its quiet useful when you have second thoughts about an email. Essentailly all they are doing is delaying the send by a specified timeframe, which allows you to stop the email. I think having an untip option which allows you to stop a tip within a specified time frame 5/10/30/60 mins, would be useful. Its possible that you may have second thoughts on who deserves that tip, or you may have typed the username wrong i.e. "brotherr" instead of "brother". Adding one less zero than you intended is a common error, or you may have just ripped and suddenly have a new perspective on charity i.e. charity begins at home. An untip (within a certain timeframe) would be good in these situations.
wyj1306 Posted December 8, 2019 #2 Posted December 8, 2019 Something that could really be added, but I think this should be seconds and not minutes, 30 seconds to 60 seconds is great.
seanwattson Posted December 8, 2019 #3 Posted December 8, 2019 Yeah but why would you tip someone and want to take it back though? Unless the dogged me as a person or did something to be so undeserving but if I want to tip you then you are getting the tip. Now for mistakes I can understand why, so maybe it just needs to be reworded. Not untip but maybe check/fix tip option? Never thought about this one!

Its a simple delay setting that allows you to cancel (for whatever reason, it is your money after all) within a set time frame. A cooling off period makes sense. I've had tip receivers come to me fighting about who got more and demanding to know how much I had tipped so and so and why did they get more. At times like this I would wish I had never tipped anyone ever.
