iamsheikhadil Posted December 15, 2019 #1 Posted December 15, 2019 Recently I watched the movie 21 in which a team of brilliant mathematicians who used the strategy of cards counting and made huge on blackjack games in Vegas. I was surprised and thought how if this is actually practiced by expert gamblers. What do you think about it?
Etude Posted December 15, 2019 #2 Posted December 15, 2019 I am sure it is a highly useful skill to keep be able to score and know exactly what the next card would be, it would help you to make the best decisions that would be advantageous for you.

Most real life casino actually see it as cheating reason why if they catch you doing it they'd simply ban you there. The only thing is that if you'd want to do it on any online casino, you won't ever be able to do so. The decks aren't like real life decks, they can be shuffled and manipulated, reason why counting won't work at all, no matter how good you are at doing so.

Yup, I agree on the fact that you will not be able to count cards in online casinos due to how the "deck" of cards work as it is supposed to be highly randomised each time the card is drawn unlike a fixed deck of cards in real life after even being shuffled.
nuuuitsjdragon Posted December 15, 2019 #5 Posted December 15, 2019 It is beyond my comprehension how card counters can use a very small statistical advantage in BlackJack, exploring the system to... roll in the dough. The ultimate counter though? A infinite BlackJack deck in an online casino, problem solved. 😂
Shekhar1992GL Posted December 16, 2019 #6 Posted December 16, 2019 Real casinos and online casinos are totally different. In real life casinos there is chance of cheating. In online casinos chance of cheating is quite less compare to real casinos. Probably fair casinos are not partial, only our bad luck try to think ourselves that they are rigged.
sahil777 Posted December 16, 2019 #7 Posted December 16, 2019 its not possible in online casino, because there are unlimited deck of cards and you dont know whats coming next you cant even count, also any kind a cheating is not allowed on any casino wether its online or real.
prokypl Posted December 16, 2019 #8 Posted December 16, 2019 How does one even rig blackjack or even so called Win the game every single time? And there is unlimited number of decks on online casino's which are randomised thoroughly which will make it nearly impossible to predict the next card.
Omerfrom02 Posted December 16, 2019 #9 Posted December 16, 2019 I think you won't be able to use that in this kind of casinos; Because every number every card is picked randomly 😜 But in other real casinos card decks are not picked randomly as I know and you can count those cards but that can end up on getting banned from a casino and it is considered as *cheating*..
Ayesha0770 Posted December 16, 2019 #10 Posted December 16, 2019 Play more gain more experience and also it's base on their skill how they handle eh
sheenazbay Posted December 17, 2019 #11 Posted December 17, 2019 this film is an old film. and I've watched it several times, of course the director makes this film based on a true story, some gamblers can do it. You can read articles about big gamblers
sugam Posted December 17, 2019 #12 Posted December 17, 2019 mate it only happens in movies.... And its considered as Cheating ... there is a scene when they catch that guy who was counting cards and you know what happened to him hahaha ... In real life and online Casino its kinds impossible
Aiza824 Posted December 17, 2019 #13 Posted December 17, 2019 You cannot do it here on Stake because of "infinite" decks though. But in real-life casino, even if it has a card-cutter, it is advantageous for the player to drop the house edge as low as possible because you can have nigh-precise and accurate predictions about what cards you will get next, albeit less efficient, when deciding to hit, double, split or do nothing at all.
