vijaypondini Posted December 20, 2019 #1 Posted December 20, 2019 So I was wondering, how people who are grinding all day long don't get hit with a lot of House Edge.. why? Normally when I play with a brand new seed each day house edge comes within 500 bets and it is pissing off.. I always start out to play with small amounts and even when I lose 7-8 times in a row and then increase my amount to wager, i keep losing.. each day i have 20 losses-in-a-row bets! 😐 And then I see all the others doing great playing for hours on end and still getting profit. So I wondered - how long would it be advised to play on stake.. long enough that house edge never comes if possible?

I don't have the exact stats... but even with a change of seed, it is still highly dependant on luck. For you, that means the first 500 bets or (insert number) bets/day must have the right results for your playing style - anything else puts you in the red. In general, the longer you play, the more you lose. It happens to everyone, assuming an infinite curve. Also, you may have a misconception of the players that seem to win as we don't take note of their losing streaks. On top of that, there might be some of them that actually fall outside the bell curve with higher-than-average luck, which can extend for a very long time. 😅 TL;DR: The grass is always greener on the other side.
Etude Posted December 20, 2019 #3 Posted December 20, 2019 I think as long as you are in the game and playing against the house, you are bound to lose everything eventually like a natural law. This is really how casino tend to profit of the most basic of human nature specifically greed when it comes to gambling.
Chikou1306 Posted December 20, 2019 #4 Posted December 20, 2019 it depends on the game and how much the house edge is ! and ofcourse it all depends on luck and how lucky you are ! in general, playing for the long run will always make you busted, no matter what game you play and no matter how much the house edge is , play for short runs and avoid being greedy.
williamshennie9 Posted December 20, 2019 #5 Posted December 20, 2019 It could take a few bets, but the more bets you make, the more it evens out. The lower the multiplier, the less rolls it takes for the house edge to equate to 1%. Dice 1.01x shows in 1000 rolls, while hunting 100x, can take 100,000 rolls to lose 1%.
sheenazbay Posted December 20, 2019 #6 Posted December 20, 2019 I can't answer it, sometimes I play for days and always win. sometimes i play short, but i bust. it all depends on luck. no one knows how long we have to play, because luck can come unexpectedly
nikowin88 Posted December 20, 2019 #7 Posted December 20, 2019 Well. Ofc the more you play the more likely you will end up losing everything... But I'm not ok with what you said. For several reasons. You talk about player that play all day long without losing all. But I'm not so sure there's actually such people. I mean we are many to spend hours here. But many of them don't spent the whole time here gambling. I don't know maybe they gamble a bit then take break and chill in chat. And then there's another bias someone already mentioned. Everyone tend to share his wins not his losses so probably the people you are mentioning lose at some point. And there's no way to be sure of what their real session stats are.. And the other point i d like to talked about is about house edge, here it's not about house edge but about variance and ability to keep winning over long period of time. But when you start being tired and for me for example I know after missing big win bc of wrong side for example, I know I'm going to play more risky and then lose all in most of times. But I'm home there's nothing to do with house edge ( not nothing but house edge isn't the main factor here) house edge would be the main factor if you would play constantly the same amount with he same strat and same payout. And on a 100% luck game bc as there's a choice front he player involved, then losses can't be put on house edge but maybe on a bad pick from the player. Not sure I'm really clear on that but house edge is just the commission took by casino on each game winning or losing. It helps choosing a strat that is profitable over time. That's all it can't be used to explain losses.
Shekhar1992GL Posted December 20, 2019 #8 Posted December 20, 2019 So many time i face house big house edge after winning more than 100% of starting balance. Some time don't even know how to face it. 2 days before i fell such thing and want to stop playing or change website. but unfortunately i have ether and not able to withdraw. I came again after 2 hours and house edge kill me with unexpected loss streak.
AndreB69 Posted December 20, 2019 #9 Posted December 20, 2019 I think one way to bet is observation, observe the results then you will know when to increase your bet, but remember it will not always work, and it takes time...before i do it,now im just relaying on luck cause im lazy ol.... just my opinion

A person with a very huge balance will be able to profit even if house edge is against the player if he maintains low base bet per roll and the player would use Martingale OR if the person has bigger bankroll than the entire casino's bankroll. We all know that it is quoted on house edge but some players forget the footer that if a player has time and balance that can match the entire lifetime (or almost as close as that) of the casino the house edge will also take forever to take effect. Theoretically, house edge can be negated although not in practice because one will not play (if not very unlikely) a very low basebet with a huge bankroll to begin with (or that person shouldn't even be here).
weswayahe Posted December 20, 2019 #11 Posted December 20, 2019 I don't know the exact thing about the house edge. but the upcoming defeat is a sure thing and I always have a plan if the path comes by playing another game to recover the lost balance. bridle was successful even though often also failed and ended in defeat more
Ayesha0770 Posted December 20, 2019 #12 Posted December 20, 2019 I literally observe the game I was playing dice and yes im hitting a good and streak wins, but minute by minute its getting worst and the longer you play the more you lose, I think wins came on at first few rolls
barbaris Posted December 20, 2019 #13 Posted December 20, 2019 Well, it all depends on the chosen game, strategy and bet amount. The speed of your loss or gain depends on this. It seems to me that plinko can keep you in the game for the longest time.
Ali saher Posted December 21, 2019 #14 Posted December 21, 2019 I don't watch this thing and I not change my seed I just play simple game and mostly I play mines game because I like this game and I enjoy this game o just play manual game but I change my bet amount on every bet
