The prize pool Has nearly doubled from $5k to $9k, meaning that there are increased race rewards for everyone. However, there are two things that have swayed me away from competing: 1 - Increased prize pool means that there will be a LOT of competition. There are many people out there that want a good spot, making it harder for people that want to profit 2 - Increased prize pool = higher wager for positions. In a regular mega race, you need to wager around 0.4-0.5 BTC for the top 50 bonus of $25. I can imagine that it will be over 1 BTC just to get in to the top 50, which I don’t have the balance for atm 3 - I’m going out for a meal with a friend I won’t have access to my computer anyway and I would prefer to spend time with them instead So, are you guys taking part in the mega race, or have these reasons made you more cautious?

First of all that's why im not in the race because i don't have any balance to play 😆, and i don't want to deposit from now because hello it's Christmas and i want to save money for my family. And there's so many player will join this event racing to top 100 is so hard.

As per me if we not able to reach in top 50, that's make big difference of 25$. For top 50 Extra the house edge is enough to make profit with wager. We can get easily wager 100x-200x of our current balance. i always ready to play Megarace if i have 0.005btc balance.

Though you are right there will be much competition as more player will try their best to get this big mega race prize. But if you are lucky you can manage good wager from small start. Let's try it.

As surely 9k$ prize pool means more money to top 8 rest always get less and with low funds most probably i am also out of this

By correctly ranked i mean top 25... Because to me prize from 50 to 100 don't worth running for ( meaning gambling in the intention to get a prize..., ) and 25 to 50 are starting to mean something but not enough to motive me. And 25 to 1 are out of range for me as I would only have mega boost to play with. Maybe and hopefully I'm wrong and someone with a small balance will actually get a good place but I doubt it will be the case BC like you said the comotetion will be tough. Then I have an engagement too for the early afternoon my wife invited my last son friends so we will be watching after them, playing with them and so on... That makes me thing to something. Wouldn't it be a great thing if besides Saturday mega race we had a mega telegram challenge? For all those who don't really like racing , it would be great to have a mega challenge with maybe basic prize x2 or x5 like megarace ( prize for those who wager the specified wagers would have a x5 x10 prize so let's say a platinum VIP win in that condition ( maximum prize as we don't have diamond VIP as far as I know) max prize would be 15 x5 x10 : 750$... Nice prize for sure but I don't think it would be a concern for stake as it's unlikely that all 10 challenges would be won by a plat betting enough to get x 10 prizes

Apart from that, it’s usually only the top few positions that have an average positive EV. I think the right way to go about it is still to participate and play. If you have a good streak of luck, by all means go ahead and attempt for one of the prizes then. 😶

Be it with high or small bank roll i just bet normally and hope to land a good place .I'ts ok with me even if its not in top 100 as long as i had fun. I'll be joining the $9000 mega race for fun but i wont be expecting myself to be in top 100. It's like practising in a grand race for experience. Goodluck to the people that aims for top 100 cause its worth it.

The increased prize pool definitely attracted a lot of players, and even though I got a place in the top 100, I definitely made a loss with this one.

And so the race was notable, and the $ 9k prize pool was tough, and it could to fight.

There will be lots of people out there who want a good place, there will be lots of people participating in races of course and that will make it more difficult to compete
