Thepug Posted December 26, 2019 #1 Posted December 26, 2019 I hate to be the person that is saying this, but I have been seeing so many forum posts being made in this section that aren’t in the correct form. This is because many of them have the following issues. - The sentences are clunky and there are no paragraphs. With these posts, I don’t even bother reading them because it gives me a headache. I’ve told people about this before and they didn’t seem to make an effort to change it. - The forum topic has been made over and over again. They just thought of a simple idea to make the most out of forum rewards, and they made no effort to check if one already exists under that subject. Enough is enough and people need to realise that yes, this might be a social forum and is more of an informal place to talk. However, rules need to be put in place, to prevent spam.

I do understand that many people aren’t English speaking, but if you are going to make a forum topic, at least make it legible. - The sentences are clunky and there are no paragraphs. Agreed on most of your points other than the first one: If someone isn't English-speaking, it's practically impossible to expect them to make a legible post/topic... it's tantamount to trying to cook but not knowing what half of your ingredients are. 😶 In fact, I personally think they should be participating in the sub-forum which Main Language favours them. If there is no support for that particular language, then... sigh. I guess we can't do anything but hope their topics/threads are quickly buried. --- This brings me to a deeper issue I have with StakeForums - that posters are rewarded based on an algorithm that does not include any positive/negative rating. With no consequences, what's to stop someone from just "abusing", "spamming" at any given opportunity? 🤢

My issue was the people that simply use google translate to make a forum topic and it’s impossible to understand what they are saying. Fair enough if the genuinely are trying to create a discussion. But if their only motive is to generate forum rewards and they don’t care about what they are commenting, that is my main issue. To create any more confusion, I’ll just delete that one
williamshennie9 Posted December 27, 2019 #4 Posted December 27, 2019 Remember that not everyone here knows English very well, and some people do not know how to write properly (funny because they know how bitcoin works lmao). But I agree with you.
sahil777 Posted December 27, 2019 #5 Posted December 27, 2019 thepug is becoming more rude and influential towards site, once i asked support about some person's topic that it made already by some other person, and support said there is nothing wrong with the topic, and if there is anything wrong we will look in to it, so i think just let them do to their job, you feel headache ??? so it means this forum needs to run by your mood and your will right ? nobody cares what you think and what you like or not, if there will be anything wrong with any topic, subject and comment there re mods they can take care of these issues.
sheenazbay Posted December 27, 2019 #6 Posted December 27, 2019 I have already said that many of the same topics are discussed, only different titles but the contents of the topics are the same. it is the job of the moderator to ensure that a topic is appropriate to post or not
Ayesha0770 Posted December 27, 2019 #7 Posted December 27, 2019 Well it's because you are good at English words some people are not that good like me it's better to understand and there's no need to post this kind of topic if you don't understand what they meant to say then don't bother I'm not saying you are criticizing them but it's better to leave what they can speak not all are good at speaking English and about the topic being posted all over again isn't it you posted something similar like this before? Then you are repeating what you just said?
wyj1306 Posted December 27, 2019 #8 Posted December 27, 2019 Really, but what bothers me most is the repetition of the contents, the lack of creativity to find something that has not been discussed is the worst thing. But I think after this event passes things will get a little better.
Seoulmate Posted December 27, 2019 #9 Posted December 27, 2019 I enjoy the topics where people are really scraping the barrell to find a topic so they can farm sats.

Unfortunately for yourself, many people actually agree with me over what I have said. Simply look at the majority of comments on this post and you will see how people do actually care over what I am saying. I’m not going to make any comments over what I think of your forum posts or anything that you have made, just to avoid any conflict. Just ask people of what they think of repetitive forum posts and trust me, they’ll agree with me. If only people actually didn’t try their hardest to grind out forum rewards, maybe this forum will be a better place.
weswayahe Posted December 28, 2019 #11 Posted December 28, 2019 how when will make a topic we do a search. and the keywords we write display the results of a word in a thread that is created. and it can display many pages with similar keywords. I think almost most people will be lazy to check the overall results. that's what makes many threads look the same or even have the same contents 😁😁. might need a new innovation both about the rule of making threads and about the search engine
