I know this is probably dumb to ask and I should know what this is already but on coinmarketcap.com there are these specifications for a coin.

Market cap, volume (24h), curculating supply, total supply.

The supplies are obvious and I know what they mean, but what does the market cap mean and whats the volume?

I'ld be glad if someone could explain these two specifications to me (as simple as possible xD)

The market cap(italization) is a way of ranking the size of the cryptocurrencies and it is calculated by multiplying the price to the circulating supply. It is like how much all the existing coins are worth of.

The Volume (24h) indicates the worth of the coins that have been traded in the last 24 hours.

The Circulating Supply indicates all the coins circulating in the market for the public. The Total Supply indicates all the existing coins. The Max Supply indicates an approximation of how many coins can actually exist at a certain time.

These are what they are. (shortly described) If you'd like a longer description or if you have any question, feel free to ask.

I understand correctly? The more market capitalization, the higher the price of a coin?

I think so, or the higher the supply
