Changing of the decimal points of BTC

As of right now stake is down and I have way to much time to think about bitcoin.

One thing I was thinking of is that when I show someone stake, the first thing they ask is:

Why does your balance have so many decimal points?! O.o

I have to explain it everytime that its like a cent just that one "bitcoin cent" has way more value than a Euro/Dollar cent. So 2000 satoshi are similar to 1 cent.

That being said made me think about something which may sound a little bit off and kinda stupid but I decided to try to explain it here...

What if we've decided to change the value and the size of bitcoin. So it would be similar to a regular currency, like with only 2 decimal points.

E.G. 0.01 $ = 1 cent so it would be just like the USD. 1 btc = 100 satoshi. But if we did that the value of 1 btc itself would have to be lower because it cant be split up to big amounts. So bitcoin has only 2 decimal points and is only worth 20$ per coin. If someone managed to do that the price of btc would go to 20$ but everyones wallets would multiply by a thousand or something.

I hope you understood my thought and you have a own opinion on this topic :P

There's already a function that does it easier for newcomers to understand the currency. In settings, you can set up how to show your currency.

All you've got to do is to go to Account -> Settings -> Preferences and select what type of currency you want.

I dont mean to change it just on stake. I mean changing bitcoin in general all over the world.
