nick change option

Hello guys 

How would this be if you could change your nick in stake? I'm sure a lot of people wanted to change their nick, but stake doesn't have such an option. I know there are a lot of people who are dissatisfied with the nick and want to change it, what would such an option be? What would your new nick be if you could change your nick?

For me that would not change much. I am satisfied with my chosen name. But there are cases where we really want to choose a name and just say that a given username is unavailable and we put the suggestion.
I think that's what happens to the most dissatisfied.

If there were such a possibility it would be strange and confusing at the same time!

Well I guess they made it where we cannot change our nickname/username after registering for a good reason right now. I suppose you can always register a brand new account if you really want to use another username.

As my opnion, stake don't let change nick is better I think. Because if they let it change, some of people are using that in worng way like bagging or scam or etc. Anyway if we want to use other nickname we can open new account also.

I do not agree, it is better that there is no feature to change nicks, you will find it difficult to find someone if you can easily change the nick. there will be many people who have debt to change their nick, many things will happen if there is a feature to change nick, and I disagree.

Not to me pal, I like my nickname very much.  I have been in the cryptoecosystem since early 2016 and my nickname has been with me all this time.  Same in Telegram, Discord, Facebook....in some places I am "realcryptofly".  But would be a nice tool if added here in Stake as I read some users in chat wanted to change their names.

I think you say right some players maybe want change nickname but as a such I not have any issues with this nick and I think stake not allowed to change user name

I would really like to change my nick because when I signed up , I didn't know I will stay here for long time so I just made some random nick that doesnt mean anything lol and "123" in my name doesn't look good , people think I am the bot  I really don't understand why changing the nick is not allowed and why it is such a big problem at stake.

I think you are the 10th people who posts a topic about nickname on stake that would be change before there's a lot of people want 
to change there stake username I'm the one on that cause I want to change the name of my main account here on stake.

I believe this idea is not bad at all. Because if someone does not want to changehis username at all then he just won't dare click on that option if it existed at all. And it will be benefecial for those who happened to have some regrets about the username used or someone may believe his username is a curse or what not. Lol. There may be a strong reason as to why username change is not allowed and it may be such a security risk for everyone that is why it is not allowed. It also may complicate things if implemented because if the username was changed, someone could then use your old username and then maybe a ground for someone to use it against you or something similiar to that i believe, Well, as for me I am satisfied with my username though Nicole alone is what I really wanted at first but someone was able to pick it first earlier than me so I have no regrets at all. Yes I would be happy to be able to change but I don't know if it will be possible or not one day in the future.
If I should change I don't know which nickname to choose I have to think about it, a funny nickname for my friends haha

I think that this would be a horrible idea. Imagine now if you blocked someone ages ago and now they are able to change their name. You won't have a clue who they are and you won't know why you blocked them, due to you having no history over their name log.

From me, this is a no no no!

Most of the gambling sites don't have nick name change option. Stake don't have the option also. If they have it I will obviously change it and make my nick smaller. I think my current nick is big to read.

No you can't unfortunately, I asked the support if I can change my name to lacker here and on PD but it seems it can't be done. This could be a nice option for being a diamond, so guys, now this is our next life purpose, let's all reach diamond and ask @eddie to change us the names to "owner of stake" . I would love that to be honest and it would be fun.
