The horrendous forum activity

We’ve come to this point again. There are hardly any new forum posts being put out and it’s extremely empty here, with no discussions being made.

Before the double pay over Christmas was removed, new topics were innovative, relevant and fun to respond to. Now, barely a couple of comments are being made ever HOUR, as shown by the screenshot below:

I kniw that people shouldn’t be here for the money, but it’s just disappointing to see hardly anyone here. Maybe it goes to show that people value money over a conversation or discussions

I guess there is nothing to talk about. January is kinda slow on stake to be honest and nothing is going on. Not even Eddie's streams 😮 But I'm glad there is less forum farming and only people who really want to discuss things are here now

I'm also less active nowadays. Cause if I create any new topic I won't get much reply/response from other users. So it makes me unhappy & disappointed. Cause I think I have made a useless topic.  There was a lot of active user during the double prize time. And people made good response to every new topics then.

What I do mostly is to give my point of view and never create discussion on any way.  I understand the core of your topic, is not about to participate in order to create controversy but the contrary.  I just wanted to make clear my position when I type letters in this forum.  Agree with the fact that January became a very slow month when talking about forum activity, valuable forum activity, and I look forward to see much more valuable topics where forum users can participate by "feeding" the forum with valuable info.  I thank you for your concern and I really hope that this forum keeps the reason on what was made for.  Good luck.

This month very slow on stake forum because holidays and so many players buzy maybe that's why we not see so many post on forum I think when stake any event celebrating then so many users active on forum

I feel that, after the ppp returns down or normal, the enthusiasm of the sudden sathosi hunters disappears. the forum is lonely again with little activity visible. maybe it could also be because some threat makers are running out of good ideas to express their thoughts. I hope this forum can be crowded again

for being the main forum area here. Have you seen the subforum as the movements exist? There is practically nothing new or no posts per day.

Do not be deceived! Most here do not want to talk or discuss anything. Want is money. Unfortunately!

Not surprising, now that pay per post is back to normal players lose the motivation perhaps. I know I haven't been on in a while but that's just because I've been busy with other things. Maybe we just ran out of things to talk about, I mean how many times can we discuss the same things over and over?

Hey @Thepug;

     Hypocrisy aside, one of the goals I have here in the forum thatis why I stay active is to accumulate rewards that I can use on Stake platform when there is a need for me to make use of it. Secondly, I wanted to use this as a medium for me to learn things I am not knowledgeable of just yet and to be able to make myself aware of the thigs I am not which are all about Stake, ofcourse. Next, I am here to gain friends and acquaintances who I can ask advices or help regarding gambling issues if in case I am encountering one and I am unable to somehow solve it by myself. Lastly, I am here to contribute to the Stake community in my own little ways. Mostly, by sharing some good practices I have been habitually doing and giving good results, or sharing a weird instance so in case others would also experience the same they know what to do or to share tips. tricks and workarounds that may be helpful for Stakers in order to be a better Staker. With all these being said, as with how you see the forum right now, I guess we may have just been overwhelmed by the busy days of the recent holidays that passed and we just have to accept that it's not always Christmas or New Year. As long as you do your thing without hurting others or without affecting their Stake lives negatively, then I guess that should be okay. Also, might be that we just need not expect so much so we won't be disappointed at the end. We all have our own lives to deal with and not all the time everyone will have the time here at the forum. Let's just be happy and stop looking for flaws instead count the good ones. I am pretty sure there are good things you may have seen on the forum recently. We may need to focus on that instead of focusing on the negative side. This I guess is for the benefit of all of us. Nothing offensive or negativity intended mate. Just sharing my own opinion about this matter. Other than that as always I wish you have more wins and big hits to come your way. Keep winnning mate! Cheers!😙

I do agree with you. The forum is a nice little bonus for chatting and getting a few satoshi every day is motivational. If you didn’t know, forum rewards use to be more than double than what it is now. When this was around, forum activity was peaking and with that cane originality. It’s a shame to see how so many people left because of this

But stake forum is better than Primedice forum here on stake we can create more topics because there's a lot of games 
that we can choose to make a topic of them. But on Primedice forum is very quite sometime's there's a day that there's no post
and only people are active on Primedice forum.

Unfortunately I see that the forum without reward would not be the forum currently that is to say that it would be very little active see not at all, and when I see that it decreases the rewards more and more I give more a lot of time at this forum ...

I am French the last time I made a translation error while I have more than 700 message one put a warning to me and but reward went back to 0 with a penalty, I understand that its no longer makes you want integrate with some ... and it's a shame, by the way.

The problem is created by the payment system.

The players are behaving rationally, type a few lines, say 'good luck to all', and voila get free satoshi,

A forum should be driven by community content that comes from players who have enough of a passion about a topic to get off their arse and write about it.

Better 1 post a day that is meaningful to players than the many derivative, rehashed, bland posts that are currently created.

If you want a better forum then remove the payment system and divert that money in to useful content creation (e.g. A guide to using the API for noobs). 

If the forum dies without the financial incentive (I dont think it will), so be it, then you know you don't need a forum.

you want the payments increased.

Well sorry you cant have it both ways, if you want genuine content, stop paying people to write bull shit.

there arent less forum farmers left behind now

what reamains are the forum farmers who will settle for less.

I think so too, everyone here because there is a pay. at Christmas payments per post double and people race to the forum to comment and create topics and of course only to receive payments. I think that's a natural thing. everyone wants to get paid

Hello guys, I keep on asking how much does this forum pay, they say that the forum payment vary differently and that there are so many other ways that the forum does pay a good amount, but does anyone know exactly how much it pays and does anyone have an kind of proof of payment here, I would really appreciate, I want to engage and see if there is anything I can contribute out of experience I have and hopefully also make good friends here, the worst for me is that I dont know and dont have any gambling experience so that to me is going to be a problem

I think so too, especially in the sub forum.  forum is more crowded when there is a prize multiplier event, because indeed the discussion will be more interesting with the reward and loss of attraction at that time, except for a few people.  I hope the discussion here can be more crowded this month.

Kudos to @Seoulmate for laying it out. 

Of course people respond to incentives, and things like Stake forum have to compete with everything else for our leisure time.  The intrinsic reward of making a post and seeing a bunch of responses that add little to the discussion isn't rewarding.  So, offer extrinsic reward of satoshi, that's great, but now forum farmers show up.  Good moderation helps, but only so much you can do for low value posts rather than posts that clearly violate the rules.

I like the idea of a Stake forum.  Bitcontalk has it owns issues, but it's the largest and so most likely to have discussions (network effects in action!).

So I'm sorry @Thepug, I appreciate your views and am sympathetic but if they increase the reward it will just invite more forum farmers, and if they decrease it the place will go even more dark.  Now if only there was a way to reward good posts.....
