GKD09 Posted January 25, 2020 #1 Posted January 25, 2020 With last weeks Mega race, the bonus $25 or $20 for the top 50 had changed to top 100, with a bonus prize of $10. It also is the same for todays Mega race, if y'all didn't know. How do you like this better? I find it better for me tbh, since top 50 was a bit tiring and annoying although I do reach it, and did for like the past several mega races. But I'm sure many with a decent or low bank roll wouldn't even attempt this. Having lowered it to top 100 will give more racers the motive to get into top 100, since the positions after 50, barely gave a decent prize from the race itself. I believe this will attract more racers with average amount of money to actually race. But the rest who used to just come top 100, beware since there are a lot more racers now, and I clearly felt it last mega race. Good luck and don't forget to tweet tweeet!

I think that the top 10 players don’t really care about the $20 reward for top 50, since their race rewards were a lot more anyway. This means that lower players with low race rewards now have a bigger bonus

This gives more incentive to several players who were discouraged by the last payouts in the top 100. In fact, this increases the dispute to be among the 100, since the 10 usd prize can be a good value for those who manage to make a good wagered with little value. Good luck all!

Well, at least I couldn’t get into the top 50 before because the richer players did not give me the opportunity to get into the top or I just did not have enough balance. Maybe now I can do it.

I now understand that what the forum and the site do with its updates is in order to exist on the market more time and thus is better than criticizing it by someone.

Surely many of them are not even aware of a race or even if there is a twitter bonus and wouldn't tweet. And that is probably what theyre aiming to do. Previously although the race gives prizes to top 100, the prizes from like even 60 are very low and negligible. So most racers, once they realise they are losing too much and can't reach top 50 just stop wagering. This however will give them a chance to win a $10 bonus. And from stakes point of view there'll be more users trying to hit this, so its going to be interesting now.

Yeah but it also wont be as easy as it was to get to top 100 now I've had the time to race for many mega races and this surely felt a bit different and more competitive. Also I do agree that we do need to up the ante for the players who come in top 10 because I've been there a few times myself and you do spend a lot of money getting there for the most part. To me it seems that sometimes it wasn't even worth it so if they don't change the top 10 to something more lucrative then we will have a problem do belief

blueprints Posted January 28, 2020 #16 Posted January 28, 2020 I wish it was more spread out to where the lowest most placements got more of the money then the top placements. like 20$ for the top 1-30 and less for 30-60 and so on so forth. It sucks because i placed 47th place and if it were like some of the previous ones i woould have gotten 25$ instead of 10$

Because mega race and normal race is not that same and mega race is more harder than to reach top 100. And now top 100 is mean like all of people can try. Top 50 is really hard to get in mega race .

People placed at 100 or in last position doesn't get big prize from race. So many people stop playing when they found they can't do better in the end. But now people will try more for getting the extra 10$.

For me it has to be something to feel it, even if i get the point that the race is supposed to giveaway to the biggest gamblers, i would better do a minimum treshold for each, example 500$ if you wagger over 2btc, indeed that will be bad, as alts can use multiple accounts to do it and it's not in the interess of stake to do so, but that's what i would do. now taking like 20-30k satoshi doesn't sound too good to start waggering 2k$ .

I think they are just gonna keep changing it up, for the people who pay attention to their social media. Either way its still pretty cool.
