Mwangi Posted March 2, 2020 #1 Posted March 2, 2020 When you remember about crypto currencies, what is the huge mistake you have ever made> because there are so many I will narrate mine and the other is for someone else there are so many that we have to follow look at it this way , there is one time bitcoin was just 1 dollar so its going to be the time I knew bitcoin, I had money to buy it ,and so because I could not understand it, I just left it, I had 1000 dollars then, I could have bought and waited ,, and just years later this could be 9Million dollars. whats your worst mistakes that you have ever done.
sahil777 Posted March 3, 2020 #2 Posted March 3, 2020 well once i started mine bitcoin with my normal p.c in 2013 and at that time difficulty level was very low so i made 0.03 btc in like 2 days but that was worth nothing that time and i stopped, now i think if i dont stop mining that time and i collect all that i can be a millionair lol.
Irungu Posted March 4, 2020 #3 Posted March 4, 2020 Mistakes re many and they can be painful sometimes but to me , the worst is taking the step of making a business to mange other poeples money before I was well organized the best effort to work is to be prepared and after I had about 10000 usd in investment, I lost all of it and I had to pay it was so painful for me and until this day am still paying for it
Ali saher Posted March 4, 2020 #4 Posted March 4, 2020 I trading bitcoin last 2 years just last time when Btc price go down like 3500 USD this time I have so much money. And I know price go up very soon I easily buy 2,3 bitcoin but I not buy I think this is my mistake.
GeorgeFeb Posted March 4, 2020 #5 Posted March 4, 2020 Didn't buy 10 BTC in 2014, that was my main mistake, could have bought even more, ha! Up to 50! I just got into crypto in 2014, been reading news, playing with faucets, learning about all that, but quite lackadaisically, should have followed the advice from some dude at CoinDesk: Bitcoin is a long term investment he said! Then I stopped for a few years untill 2017 and still haven't invested, lol, now I won't let go of crypto! 😀 Yeah, well, it is what it is now!
jamesbond Posted March 4, 2020 #6 Posted March 4, 2020 In 2016 I was doing virtual trading on an online app called Sparkprofit and I made around 30 dollars on that and I was looking to cash it out in my local currency, but there was no way to do it, so I cashed it out in Bitcoin and it was around 0.05 BTC at that current price and mistakenly they paid me twice so I got 0.1 BTC, but I exchanged it for just 50+ dollar in Indian rupees. Could have saved it and sold it when BTC was around 20000$. Another mistake I never forget, I made on stake, I reached to 1600 XRP with just 40 XRP, but thought I will cashout after reaching 2000 and I busted all doing that and stayed empty handed.
cryptonesiac Posted March 4, 2020 #7 Posted March 4, 2020 Installed the Bitcoin client in 2011 (or early 2012). It didn't do anything after waiting for 2 hours (I was probably not even mining, just opened the wallet)... then removed it again until finding out about it again in 2014... All those missed opportunities
hayach201 Posted March 5, 2020 #8 Posted March 5, 2020 My unforgettable mistake is my trust in one of the investment sites and depositing inside it. They defrauded and stole all my money that I invested inside it.
JuzLegend Posted March 5, 2020 #9 Posted March 5, 2020 Back in 2017, i was really a highroller, betting thousands of dollars at one time. Not that i am rich, but because i did not know how to stop betting when i win big. I won a lucky bet that gave me around $100k profit, but i was not satisfied. So, i started making big bets, to satisfy my addiction, but it gave me a huge lesson - I lost everything. I did not even realize how much i have profit I have lost, until I lost it all. It was really a depressing time for me, and I had to take a few weeks to calm myself. Truly it's a mistake which I tell myself that I will never repeat it again. Anyways, cheers and goodluck to you!
evet Posted March 5, 2020 #10 Posted March 5, 2020 My mistake and always will is getting greedy and forgetting to cash out when Im winning. I stay in the mindset that I can win more since I got a great bankroll and then end up busting as always. I never learned from any of my past experiences, I kept getting fucked up by this mentality.
allisonn Posted March 6, 2020 #11 Posted March 6, 2020 My phone was laggy as heck so I wiped everything, including some wallets. Probably lost about $200 from that. Also I looked up bitcoin a long time ago when it was just starting. Stared at the page for 5 minutes and I was able to recognize about 10% of the words on my screen. Closed the page and forgot about it.
Sumedang Posted March 6, 2020 #12 Posted March 6, 2020 yes I also won that day, where bitcoin is still very low value and I didn't buy. if I knew I would definitely buy and have someone close to me do the same thing. Besides that, my regret is that when I didn't participate in collecting bitcoin for free, the value was fantastic at the moment.
weswayahe Posted March 6, 2020 #13 Posted March 6, 2020 I remember the most with a capital of $ 1000 starting trading. and quite good because in one month can profit almost 100% when bitcoim at the highest price. when bitcoin started falling i was still holding and that was my biggest mistake

Everything is in hindsight though. Imagine if the price of bitcoin simply crashed, then it would have been a waste of time and resources. Think of it as you purchasing a lottery ticket. Only after they actually roll the winning numbers, you’ll see what the winning ones are. Then, you regret why you didn’t chose them.
Dp10011 Posted March 6, 2020 #15 Posted March 6, 2020 I was a little late, but I can still regret it. I had about 5,000.00 usd and I could see the price of btc at 500 usd. I stayed to buy, but I didn't do it with fear. Do I have to say that I lost the chance to earn good money from it?
Etude Posted March 8, 2020 #16 Posted March 8, 2020 The biggest mistake that I always felt about Bitcoin would be the fact that I did not discover about it early enough when 1 Bitcoin is only several cents in USD. Having such a foresight that Bitcoin would reach such prices as of today would have been a miraculous windfall!
kayke94 Posted March 8, 2020 #17 Posted March 8, 2020 yeh when bitcoin just hitted the markets i was thinking this could be the future but still i didnt buy any, my own mistake well lets learn from this because this oppertunity well never come again lol
Magdsolieman Posted March 31, 2020 #18 Posted March 31, 2020 The biggest mistake I made when I started coding I was a beginner and put a lot of my time on faucets and some platforms that require deposit until employment is done. Those sites make me lose my time and win a little and the withdrawal limit is high.
Nickoshi Posted April 1, 2020 #19 Posted April 1, 2020 Biggest mistake was sending 3 btc to the wrong address back when I was a noob and it was worth ~1500$ , never made that type of mistake again, copy/paste folks, always.. lol.
Salsa Posted April 1, 2020 #20 Posted April 1, 2020 I had sent my btc balance in wrong address which lead me in great lose...the amount was 30$ which i will never forget because the money i earn by hard work..i feel pain for some days then i am become more careful about this virtual life
Wassouf Posted April 1, 2020 #21 Posted April 1, 2020 For me, I am still a beginner in the world of cryptocurrencies, so I haven't yet made a lot of mistakes. Currently, we can search a lot of sources before taking any step, such as buying and selling bitcoin, trading, investment, and other businesses, and benefit from expert experiences. In order not to fall into such problems.
Bimfo Posted April 1, 2020 #22 Posted April 1, 2020 Greatest mistake ever was getting carried away in a race and losing 90% of my money because I wanted to win less. I was going at 98% chance on dice, then it hit red, I increased, it hit read again, I increased, then it did again. I have never experienced such in my life on any casino site before. But this is a casino, anything can happen. I came 10th but it was so low, and since then I have not tried to wager in a race again. I just feel it is a waste of time and you might definitely bust.
itconsults Posted April 1, 2020 #23 Posted April 1, 2020 I am a newbie, I have not so much idea about this field but I read others' comments and learnt a lot that how to manage risk, profit and loss. I have never used crypto trading that is why no mistake has been done by me. But after learning necessary and basic knowledge about crypto, I will start crypto trading.
lideralex Posted April 1, 2020 #24 Posted April 1, 2020 friend pose in 2015 i was rich i didn't know i had 3 btc 3 billion btc in the hands worth it here in brazil 3 thousand reais 3,000.00 each 1 btc my friend advised me several times that the guard will go up but i didn't listen to advice and sell everything ... and 2 years later btc beat the 70,000 reais 70,000.00 that was in 2017 end of the year ...
