cryptonesiac Posted March 21, 2020 #1 Posted March 21, 2020 I think in many countries small and big casinos (and bookmakers) are making a huge loss at the moment, and there's no way they would get government bailouts or tax cuts... Will people go to the internet for their gambling habits? Will they quit gambling at all and go cold turkey?
cryptofly Posted March 21, 2020 #2 Posted March 21, 2020 Sadly, gambling activity is not within basic necessity activities, which is why governments will hardly contribute and support the betting industry. This industry will have to find out a way to "survive" this Covid 19 pandemic season. And, if some people of government wants to ban the gambling in their cities this seems to be a great opportunity. Live Casinos and Gambling places should find a way to survive this pandemic age somehow. I can´t imagine right now what they are going to do, but whatever they decide to do will be very interesting. Although Live Casinos are important piece in the Tourist Industry I don´t see a good reason to save them or help them. Good luck. Stay safe.
Ali saher Posted March 22, 2020 #3 Posted March 22, 2020 This time all activities affect by carona virus and every one now try not go out of home. I think so many real casino player maybe attract to online casino . Because this is good thing for time spend and complete your habit.
Mst Nargis Akte Posted March 22, 2020 #4 Posted March 22, 2020 Soccer matches are still happening with no spectators so players were forced to bet on few games than their favorites and I see some casino and sport book sites temporarily stopped their sport book tab due to the crisis so most of the sport bookies were forced to go towards casinos or they have to find other entertainment other than gambling.
Ananya bushra Posted March 22, 2020 #5 Posted March 22, 2020 The majority stay at home so generally, they are in front of their computer screen and playing online casinos. In the meantime, taking a rest in sports betting, some are still gambling which is only accessible on the internet and others are waiting until the situation cools down. I'm out for now in gambling, better to watch a movie marathon.
evet Posted March 22, 2020 #6 Posted March 22, 2020 It makes sense that corona affects everything in a major way. Since cure hasn't been found and everyone is panicking. But crypto currencies are starting to rise up once again. It went from $4k to $6k already. Quite a good news.
Thepug Posted March 22, 2020 #7 Posted March 22, 2020 Many land base casinos haven't had any revenue recently, but I'm sure that they have the funds to continue trading, even if they aren't having any players coming through. Due to the virus, the activity in online gambling has peaked though. So, this has been very beneficial for Stake, with the average online players being 2000 people.
jamesbond Posted March 22, 2020 #8 Posted March 22, 2020 Due to no availability of real casinos people definitely try to find another means to full their desires and I think online casino is a great solution for that. As you see online members on stake are increasing these days and thats due to corona, more people stay home and more are active online. Good for online casino, but real casino will hurt badly and they might go for an idea of opening online casinos too, so we might see some new sites after this corona pandemic is over. Another good thing is this due to this many people just stick to stake and other online casino and they are not going anywhere, staying home and not contributing in spreading any corona so on the other hand stake is doing good having people online to play, Stake is helping in saving the world by making us play more and stay home more.
hayach201 Posted March 22, 2020 #9 Posted March 22, 2020 Very few people who stopped gambling, but the high rate of stops and losses was due to the stakes sites on the sporting system because because of this virus all activities were stopped in all parts of the world and this matter led to the loss of the stakes sites very large amounts very
sahil777 Posted March 23, 2020 #10 Posted March 23, 2020 no doubt casinos are locked down as well, i heard las vegas all shutted down by government, and it can cause billion of dollars lose to casino industry, but i dont think its a problem for gamblers in this internet era, they have option to gamble online like we do here at stake, so they have choice not a problem for gamblers.
Dp10011 Posted March 24, 2020 #11 Posted March 24, 2020 At the moment, physical casinos are in trouble. They are not getting any income and I do not think they will receive any support from governments. But online casinos are at an advantage. Since anyone can access it and even more so now that many people stay at home for a long time. The big problem for online casinos were for those offering sports betting. They certainly suffered a huge loss in that regard.

Nobody is allowed to go out to these casinos, but these casinos can be in many contracts with slot machine/game providers. Also, the workers at the casino might be in a contract and require redundancy fees. Let’s just say, it’s not a good time for them
Ayesha0770 Posted April 7, 2020 #13 Posted April 7, 2020 Except from depositing I don't know much what can cause on gambling site
reebox Posted April 7, 2020 #14 Posted April 7, 2020 I have never played gambling at a casino, I have always played gambling online because it is better and I can control the game very well.
Abdullahi88 Posted April 7, 2020 #15 Posted April 7, 2020 In my country corona virus has affected every activities cos we are maintaining social distance
htetaungxx Posted April 7, 2020 #16 Posted April 7, 2020 Hello cryptonesiac, I was didn't even know when people in stake are talking about cronona virus. Because that was like nothing affect on our country people at early time. So, I mean I don't know corona virus affact to other gambling, as for stake 10 mins reload are happened on us and awsome .

This time not just casinos going lost this time every business going lost because everything lockdown in all world just food shops and business work this time. Now so many real casinos players play online gambling.
Emilie Robbins Posted April 8, 2020 #19 Posted April 8, 2020 People don`t wanna risk their money. Who knows what takes tomorrow(
Tat40hk Posted April 8, 2020 #20 Posted April 8, 2020 I think deeply influenced on casinos. Fewer decks for gambling. Maximum 3 peoples on each deck. Some countries policy don't let foreigners come in their countries. Online casinos also lost a lot of decks in same times.
Aiza824 Posted April 8, 2020 #21 Posted April 8, 2020 Obviously not for online platforms, not just casinos but all kinds of entertainment peetaining to the digital world- games and TV show broadcasters. Notice how much audience did Stake have earned since before the lockdown on lots of countries began- our community volume is way higher and more active than before.
Sumedang Posted April 9, 2020 #22 Posted April 9, 2020 the most affected of this plague is indeed the real casino because there are clear rules so as not to congregate and it does not apply to online casinos. I think this is very profitable online casino where many people have switched to it.
williamshennie9 Posted April 9, 2020 #23 Posted April 9, 2020 Land based casinos will suffer, but online casinos will do very well for business in times where gamblers are staying at home and cannot go to real casinos as often as they used to.
Mahdirakib87 Posted April 9, 2020 #24 Posted April 9, 2020 Real casino in locality will suffer much. Cause in all country government saying it's people to not go out and stay at home. Online casino will suffer little too. Some people can't buy crypto for the lockdown. But most other will do much gambling when they are sitting alone in home.
Dennisbigmac Posted April 9, 2020 #25 Posted April 9, 2020 I think this is a good time for casinos how sad it sounds, people sit inside a lot more and will therefore be bored and gamble like me
