felismarasigan Posted March 31, 2020 #1 Posted March 31, 2020 can you estimate how much will you need to hit that challenge? guess i know it depends on luck but... can we have an average for it
Mashfiqun2018 Posted March 31, 2020 #2 Posted March 31, 2020 It took me 41 rolls to hit 18x on high risk, 14 pins and I was standing at 24k satoshi profit. I asked another fellow Staker and he said he was down 175k and hit the exact 18x with exact setting. So I think no one can estimate the real outcome. You need to solely depend on your luck and seed.
j240 Posted March 31, 2020 #3 Posted March 31, 2020 Yep it really depends on luck and the timing of the bet , there's this time when i was at 8 pins low risk and hunting for 5x and it took me 500 rolls to hit it , there are times when i hit it in 200 rolls , if its 9x i think average is 700 rolls. Im not too sure try it on a new seed and see what happens.
Aiza824 Posted April 1, 2020 #4 Posted April 1, 2020 Just take it as if you are playing Dice, Limbo or any other game as Plinko is designed to have a PRNG that's the same as all the others games out there (notice how the seed is being utilized even though they are different games). In an average, if you are going to aim for 9x, it should appear every 10 to 12 balls dropping at a time but you should be aware of variance (allowing things for as much as more than beyond 100+ balls without having anything larger than 9x).
Ali saher Posted April 1, 2020 #5 Posted April 1, 2020 I think this depends on your luck if you're lucky then you complete this just within few rolls but if you not lucky then maybe you need play so big numbers of rolls.
BidaManEris Posted May 2, 2020 #6 Posted May 2, 2020 Plinko follows binary distribution. The farther the target is from the middle portion of the playing field, the less likely that the ball will hit there. Imagine the pegs as if having a 50% change of hitting left or right (coin toss or playing Martingale on 2x). You would see that the more pegs that you have, the higher the payout because the less chance that a ball will really land there (chance decreasing exponentially).
reebox Posted May 2, 2020 #7 Posted May 2, 2020 it all depends on the luck you do, because sometimes looking for a 9x payout will be very difficult and can get to lose up to 500 more when you are unlucky, when you're lucky you can get hit when 10 roll.
