Salsa Posted April 3, 2020 #1 Posted April 3, 2020 One thing always make me worry that can someone steal my btc from my account...or is it too much easy to steal from any account guys....how if you lose all btc that you earn in your whole life??
wyj1306 Posted April 3, 2020 #2 Posted April 3, 2020 It's not easy, but it's possible if you don't take care of the security of your wallets and accounts, but it happens that a lot of people get hacked and lose everything.
Ali saher Posted April 3, 2020 #3 Posted April 3, 2020 I don't think this is easy I use so many account for Btc last 2,3 years and I not face any this type problems. And if you active 2fa security then your account safe not anyone steal your Btc.
Touhid Posted April 3, 2020 #4 Posted April 3, 2020 For me, I won't say it is not possible because the mind of man is very great and could achieve what is set to with time, but the question is does it what it, even after generating the private keys, how is he/she sure there would be money inside the address, so the chance of that happening is very low IMO
Magdsolieman Posted April 4, 2020 #5 Posted April 4, 2020 This depends on you in the first place, so you must choose the safe and popular sites and platforms and choose the two-factor authentication wallets, then you will not be stolen and you must also not share passwords and personal information with any entity that you keep for yourself only
nasima begum 00 Posted April 4, 2020 #6 Posted April 4, 2020 We put btc in a wallet and in that wallet you need your private key and passphrase unless someone gets a hold of both of those you are technically safe with your bitcoin. But there are special cases such as transaction between bitcoins that can lead to scamming in which they can scam and steal it from you.
evet Posted April 4, 2020 #7 Posted April 4, 2020 It's easy for hackers to hack your account and possibly steal or withdraw your crypto currencies in it. That's why you should enable 2 factor Authenticator. It's a hassle since most things like tipping, logging in, etc. requires a code but it's worth it. It's a pretty much tight security and very trusted. Never heard of someone getting hacked after enabling 2fa.
nasima begum 00 Posted April 5, 2020 #8 Posted April 5, 2020 This is possible. The most dangerous people in the age of technology hackers. Hackers exploded many stock market sites. Many people stole their accounts. We need to increase the security of cyber with technology. Crypto money really makes a lot of money.
LUBAID95 Posted April 7, 2020 #9 Posted April 7, 2020 It can be easy only when the account is not properly secured, but for a secured account, it is not possible It can be easy only when the account is not properly secured, but for a secured account, it is not possible
Wazboi123 Posted April 7, 2020 #10 Posted April 7, 2020 Its easy and its not easy, you know it depend on how you secure your wallet
Wazboy1996 Posted April 7, 2020 #11 Posted April 7, 2020 One good thing about btc is that it is very secured and it’s hard to steal btc from an account unless you have access to it
jamesbond Posted April 7, 2020 #12 Posted April 7, 2020 It is almost impossible to steal BTC from your wallet if you have a hardware wallet or paper wallet or else non-online wallet, but hacking online wallet is possible just like hacking your other online accounts. I faced it a few months back, had account on A-ads advertising site for my website and was having funds in it and one day when I tried to log in, it was not allowing and when I used forgot pswd option and recovered my account, someone had changed the withdrawal address to another BTC address. If I had sufficient amount to meet the threshold to withdraw I should have lost all as withdraw was automatic, but it was less so I changed it immediately and after that a-ads made few more changes for security due to my escalation . So BTC is secure and safe, but your accounts not, just remember that. Try to keep them in your own desktop wallet or other physical or paper wallets, only have those amounts in online sites which you need to use or play.
marcos225 Posted April 7, 2020 #13 Posted April 7, 2020 Stealing bitcoin is easier said then done. Have you ever seen those bitcoin faucets from sketchy sites? They want you to download a file? That file is a address paster it is not detected by virus scanner and what it does is when you are pasting an address to send crypto it automatically replaces your address with that random scammers. Also stake is pretty secure even if you dont have 2fa because they use google auth. With 2fa your account will not be able to get into unless somebody goes to your phone company and succeeds in getting a sim replacement then they have access to your phone number and can login to authy.
Wazeery123 Posted April 7, 2020 #14 Posted April 7, 2020 Hello guys, yes its easy to steal btc when you're using a weak wallet.
lideralex Posted April 7, 2020 #15 Posted April 7, 2020 well i think not if you take certain types of care as you use two factors which is F2 good ta secure passwords ... that is, use all kinds of security that the site offers you ... #CampaignStakeStayInHomePlayingAtStake#
sahil777 Posted April 8, 2020 #16 Posted April 8, 2020 hacking is not childs play its not that easy, and day by day more and more security options are coming, where you have bitcoin or other crypto store if you enable 2fa verification then no one can ever steal or hack your account.
Mashfiqun2018 Posted April 8, 2020 #17 Posted April 8, 2020 If you use a web wallet (without private key and stuff) and don't use 2FA, then yes, you might get hacked. If you have 2FA enabled, you might lose funds if the wallet service scams you. If you use a local wallet with seed/key, you're safe as long as you don't share your seed/key. So keep your seeds in a safe place. Don't share them. For example, many dApps require you to enter the private key. Never hold large amounts in that account. Store in a cold wallet which you won't ever use in such dApps and send money to external wallets from there.
