sofia Posted December 17, 2017 #1 Posted December 17, 2017 Will it rise to $ 25,000 after the new year?

I think it will but not with enough certainty to invest at it's current price! You think that bitcoin does not rise?

So I think it's too risky to invest in BTC at the moment, just for me personally but I think I'm also influenced by the price. e.g. if they were £1 per coin, but rising at same rate I'd probably by a tonne, so maybe it's just the high cost at the moment that's putting me off, which isn't very logical but yeah! thanks for the full answer there is something to think about
Upsilon Posted December 17, 2017 #6 Posted December 17, 2017 No one knows, like 3 weeks ago people said $10k was way too much and BTC will crash, We're at 19.5$k right now

skillex Posted December 17, 2017 #8 Posted December 17, 2017 For me I think its still safe to invest this very moment for in my theory this moment we reach or surpassed already the mid ages time period of Bitcoin's era.
Snipergangbaby Posted December 17, 2017 #9 Posted December 17, 2017 i think its safeish as of this moment but its getting near that point where me personally would not. i feel its gonna drop really soon.
barbaris Posted December 17, 2017 #10 Posted December 17, 2017 It's never too late, but now it's too expensive and riskier.

Safeish but you feel it's going to drop? That sounds super contradictory
Snike Posted December 18, 2017 #12 Posted December 18, 2017 As many investors and experienced traders say, I think it'll raise up to over 50k in its future. Not sure about the time it will take but it will.
kurian Posted December 18, 2017 #13 Posted December 18, 2017 It's too volatile now. I don't recommend investing in bitcoin now.. You can invest in good performing altcoins instead.
skywallkee Posted December 18, 2017 #14 Posted December 18, 2017 It is assumed that BTC will reach 80k$ before the "big collapse". And that collapse will not be BTC going so low that it will be valueless, but it will come to a more stable price that will have a straighter graph.
neoooo Posted December 18, 2017 #15 Posted December 18, 2017 This scenario happened many times , btc price drop to near half of its max price then up again to triple or more than that!
suresh Posted December 18, 2017 #16 Posted December 18, 2017 It's hard to tell at the moment since we are small investors so we need to think twice before investing into Bitcoin. Wait tll this year ends and see where it goes or dumps down. If you are looking short term then invest it if long term then wait for next year.
ktfor57 Posted December 18, 2017 #17 Posted December 18, 2017 Bitcoin appears to increase in new year. Maybe $50K is the saturation level from where the price can correct a bit. In the past one week price rose from $16K to $19.5K and now hovering around $18.5K. So for long term say one year can buy at these levels but for trading the timing of purchase at lower prices is important. These are my views. So, please study , analyse and then invest.
Mateusz Posted December 18, 2017 #18 Posted December 18, 2017 a year ago when it was 1000$ people were already telling that it's too late to invest and now we have almost 20k$ i think it will never be too late
stimubate Posted December 20, 2017 #19 Posted December 20, 2017 At this point I wouldn't invest, It seems like it will go down drastically. But that is what I felt about it when it was reaching 10K, so I dunno haha
ktfor57 Posted December 20, 2017 #20 Posted December 20, 2017 Difficult to say because as we are getting closer to new year price is moving down. So better to wait and watch before investing
Snipergangbaby Posted December 20, 2017 #21 Posted December 20, 2017 25 is a longshot in my opinion. but as phan said i think 21-22k range is totally gonna happen. but it is starting to settle down
Shaniqua Posted December 20, 2017 #22 Posted December 20, 2017 I really am not sure how to answer that question. I get asked everytime im at a btc atm and passers by see my using it, I tell them the same things as you all have essentially hinted at: no one knows if will go down or up, but probably up.. I also advise them to use an exchange to buy from ... not with the inflated atm prices...
wilberthh Posted December 20, 2017 #23 Posted December 20, 2017 Bitcoin is dropping now, but remember, just HODL! Bitcoin will definitely reach $25,000. By the way, am I missing any news? I don't know how bitcoin dropped so fast like this
Kargai Posted December 20, 2017 #24 Posted December 20, 2017 I personnaly will not invest in BTC anymore since I believe there is better multiplier for my investments in other coins. But I will still hold what I have and try to stock some via faucets/casinos for the long term because i truly believe BTC will cross the 100.000$ mark in 2018. But it's just a x5 or x6 the investment, I believe there is some altcoins there who can bring 10x or 100x, i will invest in those before BTC
testB Posted December 20, 2017 #25 Posted December 20, 2017 Agreed with the above, as a very tiny player, I've been trying to find opportunity among the alts. Not much luck so far, but there's a number of coins that blew up this year and greatly outpaced btc in growth. Not that btc itself didn't do amazing, being at 17x for the year.
