1k usd minimum wager to receive rain is exclusion and prejudice

I understand that the attempt is to reduce spam in the chat when rain occurs, but when you place a limit based on a currency different from that of our country, it is very difficult for us users to achieve the minimum goal. There are other ways for you to reduce spam, such as: giving rain to users who spoke 10 minutes ago. It is also possible to give rain to users who are placing bets up to 30 seconds before the rain, making speech in the chat not a criterion for receiving rain.

I try to speak to support, but the only thing they say is "this is the rules". Like it wasn´t the site that made the rules. We are being secluded and harmed when we were suposed to be celebrating Stake birthday.

I´m really feeling bad for me and for my fellow countryman.

Well, rain is not something some1 should hope to receive..its for deserving persons and not to those who just want to earn..there are still direct tips which is still an option

Well I mean, it is a gambling site at the end of the day. If someone is reliant on money from a gambling site, then maybe that shows that they shouldn't be playing here.

You should only gamble with money that you can afford to lose, and these rain funds are just small bonuses to people that are actually playing the games. The chat feature should be full of people that want to communicate and share their recent wins, not people sitting there, only for the purpose of collecting a rain.

There are still things like telegram challenge that run on most days, that people can still use to get some funds to play with. But as for the rain, surely it is a good incentive that people need to bet in order to claim it

This is a great way of getting rid of the peeps who treat the site like a faucet...

In fact I don't think it goes far enough.  There should be a qualification to be able to use chat at all, even if it just a one-time wage of 100K Satoshi BTC or whatever the Admins think is proper.

The same qualification should apply to any and all giveaways, with no excuses.

It's absolutely sickening to see hundreds of posts every day with nothing of any substance in the hope of catching rain.

It's even more sickening when they catch the rain and even worse when you see them receiving from the Mods..

Not blaming the Mods for this as they most likely send a blanket rain and can't help the farmers getting caught in the Net..

 

To finish with:  The USD is the most widely used & adopted Fiat Currency all over world.  It's not my first currency, but like 99.99% of internet users, I find it easier that everything is based around one currency, otherwise we have 3-4 pages just to work out rates.

I think it's perfect idea. Agree with @Thepug - rains are small bonuses. Wager 1k$ it's not that big, with very small balance everyone can make 1k$ wager. Telegram challenge is for everyone, and there everyone can win small amount.

Well it's already the case. We have to wager at least 100$ ( well it was 100 now it's 500$ if I'm not wrong ) one time for all to access chat.

I'm completely rooting for the last change for the rain. 1k weekly is perfect. I'm not even sure to do it every week but I think it's fair to reserve that little extra that rain is to those who achieve the 1k weekly.

Hi guys. Please read the text of the message in our TG channel carefully. You don't need to complain about these new rules. And you don't need to bet $ 1-2k per day. This is the wager level for a whole week. (I note that when performing challenges on the forum, you usually make this wager or a significant part of it)

Chat and play. Don't make getting rain a top priority. It's just a bonus

Hi all, 

I do think both sides are having some valid points and I hope I may express my opinion in this topic. 

I think it is great that something is being done to improve the chat environment, although the increased amount to qualify for rain, might not decrease the amount of issues like spam/begging/insults etc.
Maybe if we have chat reputation points , then maybe some issues can be solved? Please read further down about chat reputation points. 

Let's say VIP's are like King and Queen in chess, they are powerful and important and it is only natural that they have some advantages. Non VIP's are like the pawn, however if the pawn manages to go all the way to the other side, it then becomes the most powerful piece.  

So, before Stake had a discord server, a public giveaway and then a VIP giveaway. Just like the separation of levels in discord, maybe a VIP chat room and a public chat room can be created? 

Then other conditions can be added to the chat to avoid spam/begging/fights/insults/complains/nagging etc. Like the current forum have community reputation points, maybe we can have a chat reputation points?  The higher reputation points the higher chance to get rain. Mods can increase or decrease these points to the users depending on how well they follow the chat rules. (Adding or decreasing points from mods should be hidden, otherwise the mods might be flooded with messages) 

Please note that the main point with reputation points is not to get rain.

I hope everybody can stay happy. Thanks for reading my long post, I welcome any kind of feedback.

Didn't take you long to find and exploit the loophole did it.  Developers need t fix this before it becomes widespread !

At one time you didnt even need to speak in chat to receive rain, just be logged in. 

I know that in the past or Stakes earlier days they had attracted many players from all over the world with there giveaways and rain. That combined with no minimum wager gambling and wagers for 1/1000 of a cent or less.  

So much so, that it attracted players in parts of the world were economies are less then strong and average hourly ,daily or monthly wages are extremely low.   Giving people that may not otherwise have the means or funds to gamble the funds and means.  

With the price of btc today 1000sats is more then 10c American.   There are many countries in the world that have minimum wages less then 1000sat/hr  

If I lived in one of those countries I would certainly love a website like Stake and would have done the exact same thing.  Logged in and chatted to get some rain.  Fact is, it would be quite possible to earn more on Stake catching rain then going out and working, and that's just what some people were doing.    

Fantastic for those people.  I hope that any and all somehow profited from Stake.  

But the problem.....

Too Many players coming only to collect rain, never or seldomly depositing, spamming chat in hopes of rain or tips.  Although the new rules are unfortunate for those less fortunate, are now much more fair to those that do activly play chat and deposit. 

I understand and feel for those that were here mainly for rain and freebies and had become accustomed to the way things were.   However we all know the saying, you dont know what you've got til it's gone. 

It's the expectation of rain and abuse of the chat that's caused this.  If everyone just came played and chatted with zero expectation of free or rain, things wouldn't have changed.  

As Stake continues to grow they have less and less room for window shoppers and those expecting something for nothing.
