i think the new rules are very good as when high rolers rain the chat is turned into spam with useless types just for rains creating menace for others who actually are betting and chating regarding thier bets n other info of sports or casino.  why only rely on rains why not depo small amounts and play too ..

but those rules are applied to other countrys chats. This should be applyed to channels that have this spam problem. This wager for other countrys, it s kind high

I totally agree that the 1K USD per week minimum to have a chance to get rain from the bot is exclusionary, that is after all the point.

I understand wanting to end rain farmers and have a healthy and constructive chat.

However, I think a part of this is wrong.  When a player uses the rainbot to share good fortune with the chat they expect it to go to chatters.  However, this new rule changes raining in chat by players to a user funded indirect rakeback system for Stake.  I've seen some rains go to people who have not been in chat at all.

Stake has every right to discriminate for who it gives its money to.  So Stake funded rains can go to those that play more than 1K USD, sure, that makes perfect sense.

BUT when you compel players to rain to only those who have played more than 1K USD, that is a very different story.  Some percentage of Stake's users are compulsive gamblers, and impressing third party funds to encourage more gambling is ethically questionable.  Again, I'm not talking about Stake's money, I'm talking about player money.

Many people have told me how easy it is to get to 1K USD wagered.  If that's the case, then this isn't even a good solution to start with since it wont keep opportunistic rain farmers out.

One of the things I love about Stake is that it is always working (and succeeding!!!) to be better and better it will be interesting to see how this rule evolves.
