Bitcoin's huge decrease

Hello stakers, what a bad day for BTC! From ~20k$ on 17 December it is now way down with a 36% decrease to 11.6k! The history is repeating. This happened way back in may 2017 when BTC was 2700$ and just in two days, it lost 40% of its value going to 1470$. If the history keeps repeating, then it means that the BTC will have a huge increase in the next days and it will go up very fast and very high also. I guess that the main factor of its price going down is Christmas as everyone wants to exchange bitcoin for real money as fast as possible and they all quick-sell it for lower amounts than on the market. Is it really a reason to worry and sell all you've got? I don't think so, I also think that everyone that is strong enough to keep all they've got right now and also buy as much as they can as the price is so low, then they'll notice the profit when the price will go up again.

Neil Wilson, a senior market analyst at ETX Capital, said: "Has the bubble finally popped? It’s hard to see the bell tolling just yet.". I don't really think that now it's the case, but who knows, maybe BTC has come to an end when it reached its normal price and won't have fluctuations of thousands of dollars every day.

This is how BTC looked like this week:

Pretty sad that it almost hit 20k$ and went so down.

One more factor that got BTC down might be the migration of BTC investors to Ripple, Bitcoin Cash and Dogecoins. All of these coins have become very popular and everyone tries to get as many of them as they can as they've got a promising future.

What do you think and what are you doing guys? I will just keep waiting until it goes back up. I also will look into investing back in it again as the price hits the bottom of the bottle.

Yeah, I take your point but I also think it has more than standard people behind this, maybe banks and people trying to decrease the price of BTC, but that's true, I was one of those who sold it fast as possible, as soon as it reached 14k$, to get some money to my exchange, maybe for january or february it will start been the same again.

Best wishes, have a nice day

Happy Holidays to you and your family :)

You're right. Probably not just all the big owners of btc and ltc sold them. All crypto currencies went down. The bubble to the swill is about to burst, but I would like him to return to 20k.:)

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

On bitcoinwallet the fees are lower than that and more acceptable. (50k on every transaction + 1% of it)

The big problem everyone encounters is that for now, I'm on minus with my profits. That's why I must wait anyway in order to be able to sell anything. I don't like being on minus and I bet nobody does.

BCH is the solution to the transaction problem. So I guess BCH will take BTC's place sometime

It's really terrible. I think that after the planned fork everything will change. I hope.

This is a panic time for everyone i am holding on to my btc. See since most of the markets , exchange's has a base market as btc. Also in every site the altcoin price is show in bitcoin price. Its like bitcoin is the sun and the altcoins are the planets if btc dies all the altcoin . Dont worry i am sure the price will go up ;)

My guess was right. I was told about it, that bitcoin will surely crash big. And see, it's happening. Don't take me wrong, but I'm seeing it as an opportunity for the petty investors like us. It's the best time to grab some bitcoin at this low price. Because, after 25th it'll surely rise..

So you say the bubble will burst, I am not getting why people call it is bubble when it is not. A bubble needs to get bursted, but Bitcoin dropped price so it is not a bubble. For the topic I can say it will rise again as many are still holding the coins.

I highly doubt bitcoins sudden down now is already due to its bubble, but youre second statement investing in ripple BCC and doge has a big possibility for bitcoin to go down and its christmas season also thats why theres a big down, but it we try to say bubble of a price its a massive price drop almost losing the value of a coin but bitcoin never encounter it yet maybe the time really is near.
