Director of the Exmo Exchange Kidnapped in Kiev

Someone kidnapped recently the managing director of the international exchange Exmo (https://exmo.com/). They are still in search to find him, who abducted him and why.

The rise of criminal activities usually follow the rise of the money injected in a market, that's the case with cryptos and we will probably read more things like that in the future. You can steal anything in crypto (it's not a car or a collectible item of any sort) so you need to "steal" the person who own the money...

it isn`t a good news for me about kidnapping/ But our countries offficially not in war but particularly it is war/  I hope he will be return alive

Ouch what a really very sad news

Its so scary to reveal ourselves openly or publicly now in social medias that we have crypto for the criminal minds can easily track us. If this will happen then how can we be trusted online on our referrals and earn money if we wont be able to reveal our self anymore instead we just used the dummy accounts. Its really a heart-breaking problem, maybe it will lead to over-all banning of the use of crypto hopely it wont ever happen

It seem that the guy is now safe .

He was dropped off on a roadside by his attackers after paying a BTC ransom worth more than a million dollars.

He was kidnapped by an armed gang for the purpose of extorting bitcoins, but some other sources are saying the kidnappers just release him because they had been scared by the media coverage of the situation. I think we will not have the final word on this story before a while but what do you think ? A real kidnapping or maybe something to make the news and make people speak about his exchange ?
