Giveaway postponed (again)

Hi all,

I was wondering if I'm the only one who finds postponing the giveaway like this unfair?

What if for example you wagered extra much this week to have more tickets and cant wager next week? Your chances get smaller due to a stake-issue, not an issue of your fault.

There should be some solution available, right?

Assuming a similar amount will be wagered by all Stake players (including you) next week, you have a better chance of winning next week to this week, as there will be 30 winners instead of the usual 10. Not sure how it’s unfair?

Thats assuming everyone has money to wager again. What if you can depo once a month and thus join one weekly giveaway? Chance gets significantly smaller. (In my OP, i also mentioned not wagering again this week).

I dont understand why it keeps getting postponed.

I agree with Kryptopunk. Postponing seems to  be only in favour of Stake.com. Such strange things happen frequently last month. Is there a cash flow issue (no pre monthly.....) ?

Big streamers taking all The money, put your tinfoil hats on...

I've never thought about the fact big streamers take it all, but it's true, and you can't even detect who they are - that ruins the giveaway for small bettors that for them wagering $1k is not so "simple"!

There will be 3 times the winners next week and two times the tickets.

You don't have to wager at all and your chances will be better.

Which would cost stake more money, giving away $50,000 this week and next week ($100,000 total)? Or giving away nothing this week but $150,000 next week ($150,000 total)?

Not a trick question.

Do they really give away $50k+ in coupons and forum giveaway?

Usually 4 codes 2dollars for 2-3k People + one 5-10 dollar for 2-3k People + 7 support members picking 7 People, but The amount depends on vip level and verification, and one time one code Cost 90k to stake, only one code. So yes they can give away even more than 50k

So usually less than $50k.

And either way, if they wanted to save money, they could just give away less money instead of cancelling the stream and adding an extra $50k to the raffle.

My opinion on this raffle postponing (and it's always stream issues) is that it's really unprofessional to not prepare the stream setup before the raffle on saturday. So few days before to test everything would be a wise thing to do which gives you an open view to see if there are any issues with the stream some days in advance.

Streamers cant win because they have affiliate benefits

But their alts can... 🤷🤔 I was confused on  why a person can be disqualified on one account because they're receiving affiliate benefits, but turn around and still be able to win on an alt.... I mean just cuz it's a different account, it's still the same person behind the account... having a second account doesn't magically change the fact that they recieve the benefits in the first place...

Is there some kinda rule preventing whatever "affiliate benefits" they recieve from being used to wager on the alt .? Idk how all that works tbh... But if you get/win/earn money while on the affiliate account, and then cash a portion out... Only to turn around, deposit and use it on an alt are you not still using those affiliate benefits?
