crisulu Posted May 7, 2022 #1 Posted May 7, 2022 In the past months a lot of things went bad about this platform. To mention a few: -Servers lag a lot, ddosed 2 weekends ago. There is a decent number of people saying that they lost their bets' money on casino because the game crashed or other lags. -We still got no Drake live. We heard about it for the first time in January, or something like that. Since then nothing, just hype. -More and more kyc. -The bonuses aren't transparent at all, I personally notice them getting lower and lower. They were weeks in which I had no wager and no depo and had a fair weekly. In the past weeks I got almost half of those weeklies while depositing and wagering. The same with monthly and missed Easter bonus. -Stake mods also on Reddit. Since January this is not the Stake I used to wager thousands from February last year. Changes always happen, indeed. Buy I personally feel that Stake got really messed up those months and I am not sure what they wish to achieve. Probably they want to change strategy and become more a luxury Casino since we had huge whales that came and in a few days wagered hundreds of millions or bilions and then disappeared, like aabb. I have to say that this mess up on stake coincides with the pop of such whales.

They are putting out a TON of money to streamers and influencers to bring in new customers. So to start I think that they are in over their heads in customer acquisition cost. Then add to it the amount of new folks they have brought into stake (I dont know the numbers, I can only put together what I see and hear on eddies stream, twitter and reddit). Not only do they have issues with DDoS, but their servers are incapable and unreliable to handle the amount of people now. They are growing too fast for their own good. So now to fix their money/marketing, new licensing (this is bigger than most people realize) and various tech issues they are cutting the VIP retention items and customer incentives. Hence the reason they changed up how their VIP hosts work, VIP levels, reduction to bonuses, reloads, monthly's etc. I dont have proof this is what is going on, but I am fairly confident based on the information and experiences available. Its just very bad business planning and irresponsible use of money.

Had my host taken away for not enough wagering despite wagering daily and being told weeks before that it wouldn’t happen. Don’t really care about the host, but shows a clear lack of transparency. Weekly bonus lower than I’ve ever seen it today too despite wagering (and depositing) this week.

I used stake for around one year, I don't have any experience on how it was before, but from what I hear I guess I started to use it in its golden era which compared to the mess they do those months makes a huge gap between customers' experience. I hope they will somehow manage to handle the marketing they make, promotions and lives. It's not much, but the overall 200/300 bucks of bonuses I used to have were useful to try tactics, wager and have fun on sports. Also because honestly I could not afford to depo more than 200/300 each month. They basically doubled my depo, which a lot of casinos do it as promotions and I start to take them in consideration. This month my overall bonuses were just 100, but I have to say that I also wagered just 3/4 of what I used to, since well... bonuses=wager. With a lot of new customers they gain a lot of people that actually depo only a few dozens a few times to get a VIP and then withdraw the bonuses, it makes sense to do it. At the same time, they got a few whales like ieatyour idk how was it, aabb and others that literally wagered more than one billion in a few weeks. Yes, they stake 200/300k bets and a loss is profit for the house. But what do you do when they have winning strikes? To pay them one bet hundreds of common users must lose. Those whales who are deposing and withdrawing millions of $ in crypto They must be level 4 verified to do it ? Or just level 2 ?

However, the consequences are that they will be taking benefits from old players. Starting with rakeback, then weekly, then the monthly. Probably in 3-6month you’ll need to be plat v to get the VIP host. now what they will do most likely is do some special promotion for rakeback that last 2-4 weeks just to bring more players and then they will put it back at 5% rakeback. best advice if you are silver, gold, plat 1 is to move to another site that offers good promotions. Play there for a bit until they change the promotions and repeat the process.

For me everything in this thread speaks volumes. I was never active chat or forum user, but the way stake handles business ethics is starting to leave more and more a bitter taste of things which are moving in a wrong direction. I was long time active player and i liked the stake originals a lot. However this site turns out to be a "Meatgrinder". It seems stake does not care anymore for the old players. Recently i had a conversation with the chat-support about a loss which i was not responsible for. Apart from the money lost which was not that much, i was answered in a way which would be the same as like "talking to the hand". And this is what this place has become over the time and thats why i lost trust to play here. It was a good time with stake but under the current conditions, i dont see a way to go on here.
