Must be so disappointing. 😔 If they would Just have posted the Usernames of the Winners somewhere (Like in the weekly Giveaway) the Problem wouldnt exist.

Whilst 5k is still a large amount it is perhaps less attractive to a hacker or scam artist. Perhaps posting the usernames with *s in certain places might have worked.. but then it may also have caused an issue for people with similar names. Agree with you that it would have solved this issue if it had been possible. The username also being the same as the persons twitch username may also be a data protection issue?

Somehow I doubt that would change anything. If you think there are no complaints on the weekly giveaway being "rigged" even though it's using Google's RNG, you're very wrong on that. It's just that majority of these complaints don't leave the support ticket. Personally I agree that all this wasn't handled in the best way, and that's why we're getting all of these conspiracies and wild theories. Hopefully on the next one things will be handled in an easier to understand and more transparent way.

Do you still believe that Stake did so but decided to keep the user hidden to obtain his privacy while contacted "Others" on Facetime & only Facetime?? so when they picked the winners they asked them to go buy Iphones so we can contact you?? That should be the full list of winners, and everyone has already been credited. If someone feels they should be a winner but they didn't receive it, they are free to contact support with a timestamp from the stream, and we'll have it looked into properly. I'm now actually locking this topic, since it has served its purpose.
