I spend 4-5 hours a day on chat usually. Can you briefly explain what the job of a moderator is? A moderator monitors user interactions in chat, assists users with issues, answers questions clearly and concisely using knowledge of the site, directs users to correct lines to resolve issues, mutes users who are being problematic, warns users who are breaking site rules, and relays important information about the goings on of the chat room to their higher up to keep the site staff knowledgeable about the recent events that occur throughout the day. Why do you want to become a moderator on this chat? For money, first of all. I have moderated a mystery box website and other casinos in the past, some sites for pay some sites for free, and enjoy chatting with users as well as keeping order in chat, while at the same time promoting activity and encouraging users to be more active on the site. I am fluent in Mandarin Chinese and feel I would be a strong addition to the moderation team. Have you ever been warned, muted, or banned? I was muted once for 20 minutes for speaking English in the Philippines language channel. Have you ever been a moderator on any other platform? As a front line officer position, Moderator is the face of our community and Stake.com. Their jobs are to make sure everything in the chat room are organized, and running in a right direction,. Also to correct mistakes if things are going wrong. Moderator will also help players by answer their questions and slove their problems in a proffesional and efficiency manners when issues arised. Make sure all players follow the chat rules while they are in the chat room, guardian and correct their behavours if players did not follow the Chat rules. As concluded, moderator is an extremely important role to Stake.com, because they are the one whoms interacting with the players directly all the time. Everythings they do, will affect how players think about the Casino and if they would return again to play here or not. Why do you want to become a moderator on this chat? Be honest with you, I had been working in the land based Casino for almost 18 years. As Pit Boss/Houseman, I have a good knowledge to everything Casino related: from monitoring all different kind of Table Games from Low limit, High Limit, to VIP Salon. I am also have a good experiences to run WSOP/WPT style Poker tournament because we are running those kind tournament 3 times a year. I also have all the manager level Casino licences required by AGLC( Alberta Gambling and Liquid Orgnizaion) Such as Responsible Gambling Phase I & II, Gamesenses; AML certificate(including KYC); and so on. I believe my background of such experiences would help me to get into this position easily, and maybe my knowledge in the industry will also help my teammates to provide even greater services to our players in the future. I stay in the English chat for most of the day, Im third generation, my family speaks cantonese mandarin and English. I can read write and speak all three fluently, spent some time in Asia when I was younger. Can you briefly explain what the job of a moderator is? To ensure that no one is violating any chat rules, harassing others, begging for tips and to facilitate the general energy of our fellow gamblers. Help ensure that everyone on chat is treating others with respect & support/kindness. The stuff people talk about can be really, out of the ordinary, as a mod it'd be my job to make sure to warn, mute, or ban anyone who is doing inappropriate chat-stuff. Why do you want to become a moderator on this chat? Honestly I spend quite a bit of time a day on stake, English chat, I wanted to get more involved with stake very interested in sharing the platform with my audience.
